Good first round pick for the Eagles, great in fact. I would have few problems with our second round pick in Woodley, but I think our FO would look at Crowder over him, as well as Leonard. I am blown away by the people who have the Eagles taking a WR. It is not a need for us, especially on day one. In this situation, we may pick Anthony Waters to be our future MLB when Trotter retires.

Carolina's biggest need is a starting safety and you don't address it. You also give them a RB when they have DeShaun Foster and DeAngelo Williams.

Amobi Okoye is BPA there easily for miami at that spot. They are very high on the kid.

Change Weddle to a QB in the 3rd also. Miami has stated they will take a Day One QB.

Miami draft should read:

9th Amobi Okoye DE/DT - If no trade back (rumor is we are talking to Carolina for a trade back as they like Willis)

40th Dwayne Jarrett WR (we are shopping booker for the cap number and Jarrett fits his role perfectly), Ryan Kalil fits our need at Center perfectly Rex Hadnout would slide back to OG to fill a hole there. It would give us a good interior offensive line fitting for Ronnie's rush style.

60th John Beck QB - He will go in the 2nd round and he fits the cameron system very well. If you watch his game tape (some on scout.com and rivals before btw) he looks alot like a style of Drew Brees. Cameron's own offensive style if just that. So a good fit

71st Doug Free OT - could be Ben Patrick or Ryan Harris either or as well. Harris has the most upside but inconsistent. Free fits more as a future left tackle. Patrick could fight Martin for starting TE spot.

another version of the draft could be:

Trade back assumed

14th Joe Staley LT
40th Dwayne Jarrett WR
60th John Beck QB
71st Ben Patrick TE
84th Michael Bush RB (value pick there)

2 4ths, 2 6ths, 2 7ths
(9th + 7th rounder = 14th, 84th, 4th rounder)

1. Carriker and Willis would both be nice, but I'd have to take Willis.

2. Jarrett in the 2nd is amazing.

3. Brown could fit well at 34 DE. Not a bad pick, but if we get carriker in first, that has to be a LB/DB/OL.

I agree with most of what you said except....

Us taking Okoye, he doesn't fit our defense, AT ALL. But that is interesting to see the rumor about Carolina. Do you have any proof because I would like to read about that? (Link or something?)

And Jarrett IS the best pick there. We have no need for Ryan Kalil, as he is not as Superior a run blocker as someone like Beekman, who we could get a little later. Hadnot is a good run blocker and just sliding Beekman in there at guard would do better for our Oline than Kalil, IMO.

I like Stanton and Edwards better than Beck, but if he fits the offense better, I can't disagree with it. Beck will likely be gone by then though so we would have to get him in the 2nd.
