I'm sure some of you have seen the interesting quotes...

Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis thinks his team will get a good defensive player with the 18th pick in Saturday’s first round of the NFL Draft, but he said they would consider Ohio State wide receiver Ted Ginn.

“What Ted Ginn has accomplished as a receiver is outstanding,” Lewis said at his Tuesday news conference. “And he’s played a particular position where last year people were trying to fit Devin into, ‘Where is he going to play?’ I think in Ted Ginn’s place you have a spot for him.”

If we take him with intentions on him being a WR I will be beyond PO'd and probably won't post anymore because I will end up destroying everything in my house.

If we take him with intentions of molding him into a CB... I will still be PO'd but not as bad, either way I don't think it will happen just interesting to hear.

i really hope it is false. i like ted ginn but we have too many defensive holes o fill o waste our first rounder on a WR.

smoke and mirrors guys come on it's obvious. Tennessee at 19 has a huge interest in him. By us also expressing interest teams in the low-mid 20's that might want Ginn will need to trade with us to get him. Dallas and KC look like strong possibilities right now.

i wouldnt be mad about getting ginn at all. especially since he is naturally a corner and even if he just plays WR and returns kicks and punts, he could be our devon hester.

The point is we don't need that in the first round. Sure it would be nice, but it wouldn't help the defense.

Balance wins championships... We're about as unbalanced as they get right now.

I think the whole Ginn thing is to stir up possible trades.

Yeah, I don't think it'll work out though, I don't see anyone wanting to move up that bad.

touchdowns always help the defense but i know what youre saying. im all for defense but like i said i wouldnt not be disappointed if this were to happen.
