Doubt it, Black's rising as fast as anyone. He's a tremendous physical prospect and has impressed in interviews. He's a Chicago kid. The Bears have a need at OLB whether Briggs stays this year or not.

Also, they have a decent LB from New Mexico? I think his name's Brian Urlacher.

Hmm.... Carriker IS the pick at 11. Not sure where you're looking.

Not very good for the lions, FANTASTIC trades! Bad picks.

1. Gaines - Standard
2a. Gonzalez - No no no no no NO! WR isnt a day 1 need at all unless its CJ.
2b. Beck - WHAT?!? Poor pick, not even the best value there, i dont want a QB but if you insist on us having take one make it stanton
3a. Usama Young - Interesting, not too great though. Bigger needs.
3b. Yanda - Decent.

You missed out on our biggest need, MLB. Put it in there and lose the QB, and the OLineman

Don't be offended, but I think you're a bit behind the times and may spend too much time in this Mock Draft Forum rather than keeping track of the latest rumors, player values, etc...

The Lions are very thin at WR and Gonzalez is an ideal fit in Martz's system. The value is there and Gonzalez would be able to make an immediate impact.

Beck's stock is skyrocketing. It's expected that there's not much chance at him falling out of the Second Round. With Kitna's age, the Lions do need to look QB. Beck is smart, accurate, and has enough arm to succeed in Martz's system. Very comparable to Marc Bulger. I like Edwards a bit more, and think he could definitely be the pick.

Young is another guy who's stock is on the upswing. Athletic and Productive, a high character player. He could go as higher, or possibly higher than the Bengals at 49. Young fills a need and is a good value at 66.

I'm not sure what the complaint is about. 3 Players that fill needs and three of the fastest risers in the draft. Many would be thrilled with Detroit's picks.

Pretty decent Panthers mock. I like trading down to get more picks in the 1st (and hope we do it). I can even see us doing that and still getting Olsen if that's our target.

Tanard Jackson, while I like his potential, isn't a good fit for the Panthers. Not only would he be learning a new position, he'd likely be asked to do it as a starter while adjusting to the NFL game.

I like the Durant pick, but I'm not sure I'd rule out Abiamiri in that spot (alot every Panther fan is expecting us to draft a ND player or two since our HC is great friends with Weiss, and since we need a DE at some point in the draft...).

I'd be surprised if we drafted an O-linemen on day one.

I don't think the Eagles would move back if Griffin was still available. That being said, you have us moving back, and Griffin is still on the board when we pick. That would be ideal for us. We would pick Griffin in the first. I like your second round choice, or another DE for that matter. In the third, I would prefer Anthony Waters in that situation, as we need a MLB more than an OLB. For our second pick in the third round, I would go with probaby go with a CB or RB, depending upon who is left.

There is no way that Anthony Spencer drops that late into the second round, i see him going as early as the 26th overall pick to the Eagles.

We don't need a DT or DE.
I'm tired of saying why, but if you want me to tell you PM me or something.

I could see him going as early as 22 to Dallas. I love Spencer, one of my favorite prospects, and I agree that he's a Late First-Early Second Round value. However, that's just the way the draft works, players slip for one reason or another. I thought about him at about 5-10 picks before 49, but in the end, always opted to go with someone else.

Originally it was Jarvis Moss at 42, Marten at 61. I switched things up though. I had Bazuin, a good pass rusher, in the 3rd, but liked the value of Fred Bennett a bit more.

The Cowboys are interested in trading up, that's no secret. That being said, I'm not sure their target is Jarrett. I like the idea of Jarrett a Cowboy, but it scares me to have 3 immature primadonna WR's. Ginn fills an immediate hole at KR and would contribute at WR. Ginn gives the Cowboys a true home run threat at WR and gives the team much needed youth at the receiver position.

I could see that, seems like Denver's type of guy too. I like Irons though. With the loss of Tatum Bell and Damien Nash the team is beginning to look very thin at RB. Irons is an ideal fit in the ZBS.

I agree there are a lot of trades in that first round, it looks almost ridiculous. However, I expect a VERY active First Day on Saturday.

HORRIBLE Colts draft!!! Why would they trade up for Harrell? They have few picks on day 1 as it is. They would sit where they are and if Beason, Timmons, or Harrell dont fall to them they will take the best WR or CB available.

Yeaa, I agree, I want to go with Boise State S Gerald Alexander. He's a prospect on the rise and would be an upgrade over Marquand Manuel. May be considered a reach to some.
