Staley or David Harris at #24. Jon Beason is another strong possibility if he's there at that spot.

I don't like the Nelson to the Packer's pick. I'd much prefer Lynch and i wouldn't expect him to drop that far. I also don't understand NE taking him after taking Maurony last year.

I like the raven's pick, but do you think Staley will still be around?

timmons/houston/staley/bowe in that order over poz for the giants

I'll take poz over staley 12 times out of 10 and Poz over Houston 10 times out of 10. 2 busts

Poz just doesn't seem to have a very high ceiling to me, he is good now, but what you see is what your gonna get...Not a whole lot of room for improvement.

I'm just trying to be a original since the Packers-Lynch pick has become boring. Also, Lynch isn't worth the #16 pick regardless.

Yes Laurence Maroney is very talented, but with Dillon retiring the have a need at running back. Maroney is not used to carrying the load by himself, he shared throughout college.

I actually like this mock overall. I really can't disagree heartily with any of the picks. I think you put a good deal of thought into it. I applaud you.

how is lynch not worth the 16th? He is a natural runningback who proved last year that he can carry the load by himself, he pushed J.J. Arrington out of his way as a freshman and shows no signs of letting up. He may want to learn when to call a play dead as he tries to hard along the sideline for extra yards, but other than that, I see no reason why he couldn't be drafted at 12 in this years class...Because hopefully the 49ers will be taking P-willy at 11

He is definitly worth the 16th. Hes a powerful back who can make catches in the backfield. Exactly what Ahamn was

Lynch is a first round talent, but 16 is a little too early. He had injury problems last season.

He split carries with Justin Forsett the last two years, when did he prove he can carry it himself?

If you would look at statistics from running backs in college that you would have consider "work horses" you would see that in his junior season cedric benson only had 250 carries, 25 more than Marshawn did his junior year, this considering the fact that cedric was fed the ball every down that year. Yes Marshawn gave up 100 carries to Justin Forsett, but there is a difference between doing that because of marshawn not being able to handle the load and them wanting to take some of the unnecessary wear off of him....
