I am planning on getting over my hangover by waking up, cracking another beer, and just getting completely wasted by the time the Packers pick. So I will be yelling and throwing things if they pick Olsen, and jumping up and down screaming with whoever else they pick.

I'll be at the draft. If you happen to see a guy wearing a seahawks jersey (guess whose jersey it is) and typing furiously on his blackbook, thats me. I'll most likely write a paragraph about each pick in the first round.

I respect that so much. Good job man. I am getting a D in a class and my teacher told me I could get extra credit if I helped out with this school project on saturday but I told her I couldn't because of college.

I'll be here, in my room.. probably in an AIM Chat with some NFLDC fellas. I'll be missing my little cousin's First Communion and a family get together because of the Draft.. Hopefully nobody hates me because of it.

watching it with a couple other guys while playing a skins game of Hot Shots Golf for shots in between the 10 minutes it takes teams to pick. 1 hole for each pick, hopefully i wont have 32 shots of Cuarvo(sp?) in me when the first round is over...

p.s. i wouldnt do this if i didnt dominate at that game. Getting drunk to where i wont remember the draft hasnt happened in the past and wont happen this year but seeing people still standing and bitching about picks when they are obviously blacked out is pretty funny

I'll be at a buddies apartment watching the draft and drinking beers/eating buffalo wings. Since I'm a compulsive gambler, myself and Giantsfan1080 will probably be going $5 a pick on who each upcoming draft pick will be.

Its fun. Likely one person will end up around 20 bucks up if you only do the first round like we are going to do. Because there will be a bunch you both get right, or neither get right.

I have to listen to the entire draft on satellite radio because I'm staffing a youth retreat in the middle of nowhere, PA. I committed a year ago thinking the draft would be 4/21. BAH!!!

TV + food + drink + couch = draft weekend. My biggest decision is whether to watch ESPN or NFL Network's coverage.

I would try NFL Network's coverage first to see, then you can always fall back for the ESPN stuff.

Actually I was thinking of using a splitter on my cable and hooking up 2 tv's and watching both.

Not a bad idea, but you can't listen to both sets of analysis. If I were home to watch, I would absolutely be watching NFL Network first because Chris Berman is annoying.

I think that takes away the suspense of each pick, though. The anxiety and anticipation is unmatched.

Unmatched? I think the NCAA tournament and NHL playoff hockey is much more intense and suspenseful.

Most teams don't take a full 15 minutes.

Anywho, my Mom has vowed to watch the draft with me, she'll probably get bored, but I talk about it so often just waiting for it to finally start so she probably wants to see what it's all about, I wish she watched last year when it was such a big year for the Packers.

A true statement my friend. The only thing that 15 minutes between picks does to us fans is torturous with overanalysis.

The 15 minutes when your team is on the clock I feel matches the intensity.

I saw this on another forum. I thought it was funny. Maybe I'll do this.

The ESPN Draft Coverage Drinking Game!

Take a chug of your beer everytime one of these things happen:

Use of helmet phone
Picture of John Clayton scares kids/pets in room
Kicker/Punter drafted
Commissioner announces trade
Vikings' time expires
Woman speaks on camera (not a commercial)
Player: "dream come true"
Coach/GM: "best player on our board"
Berman: "Geeeee - Men"
Kiper: "the knock on him..."
Anyone: "Ryan Leaf"
Anyone: "Could be the next __________"
Fans heard booing selection
Split screen shot of team and player on phones together
Any first round pick with new team jersey not numbered "1"
Kiper admits error
Lions draft WR

Not really. Some of those things rarely happen. Such as Kiper admitting he was wrong, jersey other than #1.

With Berman he seems contractually obligated to say Geee-Men every few minutes, Clayton would be on at least 2, the helmet phone will be viewed multiple times, Ryan Leaf will be mentioned due to Russell being the forerunner, best player on board will be said, Kiper will mention knock on at least 2 players, obviously the phrase "he could be the next" will be said at nausea, and the split screen shot is a must, so I do believe you could be tore up by the 2nd pick.

I think Berman will probably say Geee-Men 6 times on Saturday. Twice for each pick.

Over/Under 6.5 on the Geeeeeee-Men?

I personally think that he will be confused a little and will say "The New York Football Giants" enough to offset this. I'm going under.

I'll see the draft until a little after 1:00 PM, and then I have to go to a birfday party, probably for a few hours. I'll most likely miss the Jaguars pick.

So I'll be there, clutching a cell phone anxiously for each pick fed to me by mi padre. I have to act like I care at the party...j/k. Once I get back, I'll lounge and watch intently. I'll also be checking out the fallout from the Jags pick and others on here and the Jaguars message boards.

I'm going to wake up early on Saturday and go workout before the draft. Then I will go home and crack open my first beer around 10:30 central time. Between then and about 6, I plan to drink myself silly until my parents come over for my mom's birthday dinner. Hopefully I sober up quickly and don't make a scene.

I'm also going to load up on Snyder's Jalapeno Pretzel Bites, it's a draft tradition for me.
