I dont see the boys passing on Tank if available in the 2nd.

Beck is a lock for the 2nd.

Meachem is an interesting pick. While he would be an excellent value, the Patriots have signed a lot of wide receivers lately, and Chad Jackson is a very similar player. I think the pick at that point would be someone else, but that wouldn't surprise me a ton. The Patriots can get out of Donte' Stallworth and Kelley Washington's deals after one year, so maybe they draft Meachem here to develop behind the free agents with Chad Jackson for a year, try and win the Super Bowl, and then get rid of Stallworth and Washington with the out clauses? Next year they'd have Jackson, Meachem, and Wes Welker at wide receiver, a nice young combination. I think Dwayne Bowe might compliment Jackson better, though, although I think Meachem is a slightly better prospect.

It has been said that David Harris is a near lock at #28. He's an excellent fit for the Patriots system - that would be who I suggest there. It could be a smokescreen, but I'm not really sold that it is, it makes too much sense. No chance the Patriots take a punter in the third round. They have Josh Miller, Tom Malone, and Danny Baugher on roster already, and first-day picks are far too valuable to waste on punters. Someone like a Dwayne Wright or a cornerback/safety would be a nice pick there.

I don't like this mock very much. The Eagles would pick Griffin in this situation. Safety is our biggest need, and Griffin would fill that. In the second, we would go with a DE like Woodley, Johnson, or McDonald. In the third we may go after Brian Leonard in this scenario, though I doubt he lasts as long as that. We may just get him in the second.

I like it. God damn it, I like it. But, I have to ask. Since Oakland has the 1st pick in the 4th, g'on and give us a pass rusher or something so I'll really be able to get perky.

I've warmed a little to the idea of Edwards at 33, although I still think it's a reach. Durability and all.

Harris is a good fit and could eventually be pretty damn good.

Booker is a great pick. I might have preferred a guy like Hunt or Irons, as they have a better chance of being a "feature back". But Booker could step right in and run every play Kiffin ever called for Reggie Bush. That has some exciting potential.

i really dont like the chargers picking jarrett here to much like v.jackson other than that not bad SD draft

04-26-2007, 07:08 AM
would rather see KC's draft as followed

04-26-2007, 08:24 AM
Josh Wilson instead of Brian Leonard

04-26-2007, 08:31 AM
like the miami draft but we need some oline in the 60th pick or 71st pick. We need a tackle and guard more then anything else on the team.

Now getting quinn and Olsen though is an absolute steal. Him with Quinn could be scary (and amusing since he went to ND before transfering to Da U :) )

04-26-2007, 08:37 AM
Drew Stanton is a waste of a third round pick for Cleveland IMO.

If they qb it should be for Quinn round 1.

04-26-2007, 09:02 AM
Josh Wilson instead of Brian Leonard

agreed. im tired of everyone giving us brian leonard, it makes no sense for our team. josh wilson >>>>>>> leonard

Josh Wilson for the Ravens.

04-26-2007, 09:06 AM
Mediocre for the 9ers. They can't pass Willis for Anderson in the 1st. I would say:
1. Patrick Willis
2. Steve Smith
3. Buster Davis

That would be much better. Nice job overall.

The Worst Falcons Mock I have yet to see. Don't quit your day job.

04-26-2007, 09:36 AM
Not a great Rams draft pick Alan Branch in the 1st round

04-26-2007, 09:40 AM
Great Packers Draft!!!

04-26-2007, 09:42 AM
Very interesting Colts 1st rounder. I like it though. I would possibly rather have Dwayne Bowe though since WR is a bigger need than CB but I believe Houston will be great so Im fine with that pick. I do not like the 3rd rounders however. Give us Mebane and Booker for the 2 3rd rounders. Or a LB in round 3 is definately possible if we dont take one round 1.

04-26-2007, 10:01 AM
I think Thomas BOwe McDonald would be a better combination for the bucs. I love the BOwe pick just because of the value

04-26-2007, 10:11 AM
Sigh....for the Eagles, why in God's name would we go with Jarvis Moss with Michael Griffin still on the board. For round 2, Hughes is too slow to play in the Eagles' scheme...Michael Bush, Tony Hunt are better fits. Third round, Quincy Black or Rufus Alexander considering we would already have addressed the safety position

bored of education
04-26-2007, 10:55 AM
no way Bengals take a risk on Eric Wright. PLenty of charecter issues even though they are behind him.

For KC: not a huge fan, they just got rid of their TedGinnJr, they dont need a new one.

rather see based on your available players:
1. Aaron Ross
2. Tank Tyler
3. James Marten

04-26-2007, 11:09 AM
This is the best Denver Broncos Mock I have ever seen.

04-26-2007, 11:35 AM
Pretty amazing Phins draft. I would rather have Beekman over Tyler because DT is not a day one need for us right now. Also, Rouse over Bennett as safety is a bigger need than CB, with Jason Allen making the switch to CB this year. Those first two picks for Miami are truly special though, but Olsen won't make it out of the first so I'm not getting my hopes up on that one.

04-26-2007, 12:29 PM
If the Eagles drafted the way you have them in this mock, I will be incredibly angry and disappointed.

04-26-2007, 12:37 PM

Round 1) If Bowe drops to us in the 1st we take him. No way he is a 2nmd round talent.

Round 2) Charles Johnson over Ben Patrick here.

Round 3) Brandon Mebane please.

04-26-2007, 01:48 PM
Good positions but not good players.

04-26-2007, 02:26 PM
Like it for the Lions

04-26-2007, 03:16 PM
wow, did not expect so many replies so quickly. I'll work on the suggestions made (thanks by the way) and probably throw up another mock by tommorrow.

04-26-2007, 03:45 PM
Dont like the Lions pick of Russel, would probably take CJ or trade down!!!

04-26-2007, 10:02 PM
IMO if the Steelers drafted this way it would truely be a "SteelCityNightmare"

04-26-2007, 10:04 PM
First 2 rounds for Eagles GREAT! Third round, you have the priorities straight for the Eagles but don't like the player.

04-26-2007, 11:42 PM
Terrible Rams draft. They have to address the d-line on day 1. Center is not a need. The coaching staff is very high on Brett Romberg, who started toward the end of the season. Chris Henry...ehhh...the coaching staff likes him, but I don't.

04-27-2007, 12:12 AM
Texans will not draft Levi Brown in the 1st. I wouldn't mind Craig Davis in the 3rd at all though.
