Sal Palantonio, of ESPN, reports the Detroit Lions are talking to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers about a trade for the second overall pick in the 2007 NFL Draft. There are several trade scenarios being discussed between the teams. One scenario is the Buccaneers would trade the fourth overall pick and their two second-round picks to the Lions for the second pick. This scenario is unlikely, since the Buccaneers have yet to be willing to trade what is being asked for by the Lions. Another scenario involves the Lions taking Georgia Tech WR Calvin Johnson, while the Buccaneers would take University of Clemson DE Gaines Adams. After the selections, the Buccaneers would trade Adams, another player, possibly CB Brian Kelly, and maybe an additional pick for Johnson.
