1. Oakland Raiders Jamarcus Russell LSU
I am hoping they take Calvin Johnson now, I REALLY do not want to see Calvin Johnson go to Detroit but Russell seems like the guy and is a great pick IMO.
2. Detroit Lions Calvin Johnson GT
BOOO, I don't wanna see CJ in Detroit but oh well its going to happen unless he goes to Oakland. Him and Roy would be a sick tandem, even though thats the same thing we said about Rogers/Roy and Rogers/Roy/Mike, but CJ has very very low bust potential, gonna be a huge stud where ever he goes.
3. Cleveland Browns Brady Quinn Notre Dame
Cleveland native, they get the franchise QB to team up with Braylon Edwards and Kellen Winslow.
4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Gaines Adams Clemson
Probably very disappointed not to get Calvin Johnson, but they still land a stud pass rusher for the next decade on their defense to replace Simeon Rice in the near future.
5. Arizona Cardinals Joe Thomas Wisconsin
Easy here.
6. Washington Redskins Laron Landry LSU
New trend in the NFL draft... safeties in the top 10, would be the 4th safety in the top 10 in the past 4 drafts. Smart thing though with safety becoming a very important position on defense, also who would have the balls to go up the middle against a safety tandem of Landry and Taylor? Obviously Todd Pinkston wouldn't.
7. Minnesota Vikings Adrian Peterson Oklahoma
Falling due to injury concerns, but in Minnesota he won't have to have to heavy of a workload with Taylor.
8. Atlanta Falcons Amobi Okoye Louisville
Petrino gets his 19 year old back, solid pick up here.
9. Miami Dolphins Levi Brown Penn State
They could use some work on the O-Line...
10. Houston Texans Leon Hall Michigan
Pair him up with Robinson to form a nasty tandem.
11. San Fransisco 49ers Adam Carriker Nebraska
12. Buffalo Bills Patrick Willis Ole Miss
13. St. Louis Rams Alan Branch Michigan
14. Carolina Panthers Greg Olsen Miami U
15. Pittsburgh Steelers Darrelle Revis Pitt
16. Green Bay Packers Marshawn Lynch Cal
17. Jacksonville Jaguars Jamaal Anderson Arkansas
18. Cincinnati Bengals Lawrence Timmons Florida State
19. Tennessee Titans Robert Meachem Tennessee
20. New York Giants Jon Beason Miami U
21. Denver Broncos Joe Staley Central Michigan
22. Dallas Cowboys Aaron Ross Texas
23. Kansas City Chiefs Ted Ginn Ohio State
24. New England Patriots Reggie Nelson Florida
25. New York Jets Jarvis Moss Florida
26. Philadelphia Eagles Michael Griffin Texas
27. New Orleans Saints Chris Houston Arkansas
28. New England Patriots Paul Posluzny Penn State
29. Baltimore Ravens Dwayne Jarrett USC
30. San Diego Chargers Dwayne Bowe LSU
31. Chicago Bears Brandon Meriweather Miami U
32. Indianapolis Colts Justin Harrell Tennessee
