1. Oakland - Brady Quinn - QB
No, Andrew Walter will not prevent this pick from happening

2. Tenessee - Calvin Johnson - WR
Top talent in the draft if he leaves early. Would be drafted #1 if not for Randy Moss in Oakland

3. Houston - Adrian Peterson - RB
They passed on bush last year, and should be kicking themselves for it.

4. Detroit - Brian Brohm - QB
High Octane offense in Detroit will need a gun slinger to distribute the ball. Current QB's are temporary fixes

5. Cleveland - Sam Baker - LT
Great pass procector vs. the small, quicker type of ends, such as freeney

6. Tampa Bay - Quentin Moses - DE
Simeon Rice is getting old. D-line needs help

7. Green Bay - Marshawn Lynch - RB
Ahman Green's career is coming to an end quickly

8. San Fransico - Dwayne Jarrett - WR
Huge target for Alex Smith, 40-time is the key

9. Miami - Joe Thomas - LT
Maybe the pressure is why culpepper is playing so poorly?

10. Buffalo - Levi Brown - LT
Willis McGahee is a stud at rb. and Losman is starting to look like an nfl qb. Brown would benefit both players.

11. Arizona - Laron Landry - S
Best safety in the draft. Ballhawk. Will play along side of Adrian Wilson, and Antrell Rolle. Lethal combo.

12. New York (Jets) - Gaines Adams - DE
Loss of John Abraham will make this pick happen. Gaines is a terror and can play OLB in the 3-4 defense.

13. Washington - Antoine Cason - CB
Will start opposite of Carlos Rogers

14. St. Louis - Paul Posluzny - LB
Great addition to a rebuilding defense.

15. Kansas City - Frank Okam - DT
Defensive line needs more beef. Okam is a big beefy DT who can stuff the run and rush the passer. Still a JR.

16. New Orleans - Rufus Alexander - LB
The Saint's LB's never seem to develope, this one will due to his great speed.

17. Pittsburgh - Patrick Willis - LB
The steeler LB's are aging and linebackers are the key to a 3-4 defense. A tackling machine who can play 3-4

18. Carolina - Michael Grifin - S
Nasty player who fills a void for the Panthers

19. Dallas - Justin Blalock - G
Replacement for Larry Allen?

20. Denver - Lawrence Jackson - DE
Great balance of speed and strength

21. Jacksonville - Michael Bush - RB
Maurice Jones-Drew and Bush would make a great 1-2 punch

22. Minnesota - Leon Hall - CB
Defense needs to get younger. Winfield, Sharper are both aging. Hall hasn't been spectacular, but solid.

23. Philadelphia - Doug Free - LT
Refered to by many as Doug FREAK due to his intense play. Future starter at LT with Justice at RT

24. New England - Brandon merriweather - S
Eventual replacement for Harrison?

25. Baltimore - Kenny Irons - RB
Well rounded player. Jamal Lewis needs some competition to give him a kick in the ass.

26. New York (Giants) - Marcus MacCauley
The secondary looked awful the first 3 games

27. San Diego - Dan Bazuin - DE/OLB
Out of Central Michigan so is nationaly unkown. Puts up huge sack numbers. Has perfect 3-4 OLB size.

28. Atlanta - Alan Branch - DT
Tank of a player, will replace Grady Jackson

29. Chicago - Zach Miller - TE
Roster has no #1 TE

30. Cincinatti - Victor Abiamiri - DE
Need new starting DE. Abiamiri is a player that gets after the QB.

31. New England - Buster Davis - ILB
Davis is undersized but very instinctive

32. Indianapolis - Quinn Pittcock - DT
Run-Stuffer who plays tough

ROUND 2
33. Oakland - Jake Long - T
34. Tenessee - Tim Crowder - DE
35. Houston - Jason Hill - WR
36. Detroit - Darrel Revas - CB

38. Tampa Bay - Drew Stanton - QB
39. Green Bay - Steve Smith - WR
40. San Fransico - Tank Tyler - NT
41. Miami - LaMarr Woodley - LB
42. Buffalo - Sidney Rice - WR
43. Arizona - Ryan Harris - LT/G
44. New York (Jets) - Adam Carriker - DE
45. New York (Jets) - Amobi Okoye - NT

47. Kansas City - Troy Smith - QB
48. New Orleans -Kyle Young - G/C

51. Dallas - Jeff Samardzija - WR
52. Denver - HB Blades - ILB
53. Jacksonville - Vince Hall - LB
54. Minnesota - Greg Olsen - TE
55. Philadelphia - Dan Connor - LB
56. New England - Charles Johnson - DE/LB
57. Baltimore - Jamarcus Russell - QB
58. New York (Giants) - Joe Staley - LT

61. Chicago - Daymeion Hughes - CB

11. Arizona - Laron Landry - S

Great pick

43. Arizona - Ryan Harris - LT/G
Don't like it at all. We don't need a LT or LG, give us Kyle Young here

75. Arizona - Stephen Nicholas - LB Don't know much about him but the position is right

First two colts pick are good but the last one is terrible

This is excellent for the Colts. CB isn't really a need, and would likely be addressed after OG and RB, but the first two picks are excellent, as is the spot.

Adams > Moses, don't need a QB.

Best safety in the draft. Ballhawk. Will play along side of Adrian Wilson, and Antrell Rolle. Lethal combo.

Great pick.

43. Arizona - Ryan Harris - LT/G

H.B. Blades would be a much better pick there. Kyle Young would also be a possibility.

75. Arizona - Stephen Nicholas - LB

Would be an OK pick if we didn't take Blades in round 2, if not than Tarrell Brown would be a pretty good pick.

PATRIOTS DO NOT NEED A KICKER. WE TOOK 1 IN 4TH ROUND LAST YEAR.

Panthers have no need for a C...unless you're projecting him as a G, and if that were the case give us Beekman.

Great 1st pick for Houston. WR and C aren't pressing needs however. We need help at FS and OLB.

Hugs for Ricky Bobby. Fantastic draft for Miami, pretty much perfect, scratch that, it's perfect.

Pittsburgh - Patrick Willis - LB

Perfect, Although Word has it that Pittsburgh Scouts are looking at Lawrence Jackson for OLB in the 1st, I'll still take P Willie in Round 1.

Pittsburgh - Brian Smith - LB/DE

Awesome, Freakish Blend of Size and Power.... He is what we need at OLB.

Pittsburgh - Tony Hunt - RB

Love it.. He's just what we need.

Good first rounder.

I'm doubtful we'll even address TE day one and we don't have a 3rd rounder. We're in need of depth at saftey and Oline so I like the 3rd rounder (we'll have one or two 3rd rounders either way via compensation).

Do you have a link to that or is that something your "friend" told you. I don't see a team scouting a underclassmen that hardly, and I don't see Jackson being a OLB at all.

I'm not positive Adams can play 3-4 OLB we'll have to see some workouts before we know if he really can, but if he can that's a good pick. I'd like to hope we don't pass on OG Ramirez in the third since we have an inability to run the football and it has more to do with the offensive line than it does with the backs IMO. Second round is very good. Bengals probably won't draft a TE till early day 2 since they use their TE's as blockers for the most part, and they probably won't need a guard because Whitworth is probably going to step in if Steinbech, they drafted him in the second last year as an OT but he's been getting reps at guard I believe. First round for Cincy is exellent though.

It was on Steelcity Insider, that Pittsburgh Steelers Scouts were looking heavily at Lawrence Jackson, Steve Smith and Isaiah Stanback.

Smith Could be a Rush backer, He has incredible speed off the snap, if they can translate that into Coverage speed at all, he could be a monster.

I wish we had a need @ WR for Steve Smith, he's my favorite WR in this draft (ahead of CJ, because I know we won't be in the CJ Sweepstakes).

Isaiah Stanback, Another one of my favorite Prospects, could be just our Randel El or a QB, I don't know why.. After Omar why we don't go for Beck or Getsy.

Don't expect Randy Moss to be in the Silver and Black in 2007. Not unless he really gets his act together.

Eventual replacement for Harrison?

31. New England - Buster Davis - ILB
Davis is undersized but very instinctive

I don't if they fit Pats system, but talent wise, they are good picks

88. New England - Mason Crosby - K

I disagree with this one. Gostkowski had a bad day but did fine last game.

I would doubt ramirez is that good of a run blocker

I'm pretty sure he's actually a good run blocker, big strong guy and what I've heard his limitations are more from an athletic standpoint than a strength standpoint. I've also heard he's a better run blocker than pass blocker. And he should be a pretty good run blocker considering he's like 330 and a very highly thought of prospect in a few circles.

You be quiet, he can have Thomas going to Miami if he wants.

Baker has been playing very well this year though.

The Bengals don't have a third round pick this year, since they used it in the supplemental draft on Ahmad Brooks. First two picks are decent, even though I'm not a huge fan of Abiamiri. Pitcock would be the better pick in your draft scenario.

Right on with Kyle Young, i thought the exact same thing

either a LB in the third or at least Tarell Brown if no LBs are available
