Post any predictions for the leaders in any stat categories for the AFC/NFC. at the end of the season.

I'll start it off with Simeon Rice as the NFC sack leader if healthy, playing opposite Gaines "bubble-butt" Adams.

I dunno, nobody will ever pass against Tampa because neither of their 2 DEs can play the run well, and Chris Simms sucked hard last year, so they wont get up on many teams.

I'm gonna say...

Randy Moss will lead the AFC in Receiving TDs.

While I agree that our run defense is a concern, Adams will not start as long as Rice is healthy. Spires is our starting LDE and he is a strong run-stopper. We are going to become more of a ball control team so I disagree about the "up on teams" statement.

Oh, okay. I figured they wouldn't start both of them. And I suppose Caddy wil probably rebound and Simms won't be as bad as last year. I don't see Rice leading the league, but I suppose it could happen.

Hahaha. He'll have to beat out Kampman, Peppers, Anderson, Ware, and so on. I know he was injured, but didn't he have under 5 last year? I really can't see it happening. Like mentioned teams will run on them and he isn't what he used to be.

Rice is in great shape again and I see him having a breakout year as teams will have to account for Adams & Rice on passing downs. Obviously there's lots of competition, but Rice will be among the sack leaders again at the very least. Ware could run away with it though.

Predicition #2: Champ Bailey will have less than 10 passes thrown in his vicinity, but he will intercept all of them and lead the NFC in that category.

Passing yards: Carson Palmer. I personally think he is going to have an MVP like season. I see him stepping up his game to another level. I am thinking about 4400 - 4500 yards from Palmer.

Passing TDs: Peyton Manning. Duh. Though Palmer and Manning will be close behind.

Rushing yards: Steven Jackson. Everyone is saying Frank Gore, but I dont see him holding up through all 16 games with a past injury history and his style of play.

Rushing TDs: LaDainian Tomlinson. LT with Norv Turner = Monster season.

Recieving Yards: Chad Johnson. As a part of Palmer's MVP season, Chad will play a big role and recieve about 1500-1600 yards.

Recieving TDs: Calvin Johnson. Surprise pick here. I think everytime the Lions get in the redzone, they just gotta throw it up to Roy Williams or Calvin Johnson...whoever has less coverage, or the better match up. Even if he cant contribute to the regular offense consistently, I think he will be a scary ass red zone threat.

Tackles: DeMeco Ryans. Improved play by the defensive line (Mario Williams, Amobi Okoye) will free up Ryans even more to cause havoc.

Sacks: Shawne Merriman. Duh.

Interceptions: DeAngelo Hall. I needed one homer pick...Zimmer will be switching into man to man corner play, which I think Hall is a top3 corner at. With more oppurtunities in man, teams still throwing his way, I think he can rack up alot of interceptions.
