Johnson said that Spikes will initially play at the WILL position and that Gaither will likely take snaps both at WILL and in the middle, behind Jeremiah Trotter. The Eagles have a lot of possibilities at linebacker, including a battle at SAM with Gocong and Bradley and, in theory, Dhani Jones and Tank Daniels.

yeha i read this from there website,

Nice job with the DC i actually see the ealges chart looking simlar to taht

Jerome would get cut,
Bethal and Bloom battle it out, realize one is good at kick one is good at punt both end up staying
Holcomb stays Donavan i dont want him comming back early so he goes on PUP and Kolb can't learn west coast that easily, so Holcomb there if feeley gets injured

Schobel and Celeck is pretty much up in the air another battle, though Celeck and block just a little bit more, i think

Moats, Rayburn and Jones get traded as well as Johnson, and Johnson goes to the Dolphins who have no Punter now

Daniels stays as practice squad

Also Moats may not get cut becuase Ilaoa may not make the team, i would so hate taht

We could probably get something for Jerome, maybe a late round draft pick next year or something. He still has a little potential, he was a first round pick.

There is no way both Bethel and Bloom stay. We would have to keep 7 receivers if that was the case. Either one or the other will stay. I'm hoping for Bloom because I really like the guy.

There is no way we will keep 4 qb's. Donovan will probably be ready for TC. Even if he's not we only need 2 backups. Kolb could backup Feeley if Feeley had to play.

Celek will stay, we drafted him and we like to keep our draft picks. Schobel is as good as gone IMO.

We've been actively shopping Moats. We intend to get rid of him. That's why we got Ilaoa. Ilaoa is going to stay.

As for the post above, that's all factored in in my depth chart, except no Torrance Daniels or Dhani Jones because I would rather keep more defensive linemen because they are better players.

Good idea, but you know our roster and depth chart will always change during UDFA.

I think Stewart Bradley will be the starter on 1st and 2nd downs, than Gocong comes in on 3rd downs, because Bradley is a force against the run and Gocong is a pass rusher, that would be the ideal situation. Also I know you have a ? after it, but I don't think Ilaoa will be a FB, I guess there is a chance but if you watch tape on him he is pretty short, really agile and hard to tackle, I think if they wanted another FB they would have picked up a guy like Jackie Battle. Other than that I agree with you.

This is the depth chart as of now, but remember Stallworth was added later and their are more cuts to come prob june 1. i see the eagles doing alot of shuffling. But that heavens Reno no go Mahe isnt on the team anymore. Andy did it so that now he'll get a NFL pension

There is no reason to assume that Reno won't be on the team next season. Yes, Bloom could take his return job, but Andy seems to like him. Last season, I was sure that Mahe wouldn't have a role, but all of a sudden, he was on the final roster and made it happen. I never count him off the roster until he's cut.

Mahe has been an FA since it began.

Bsaza, you are right, as ong as he has a contract with the Eagles, but as of now, he has no contract, so I don't hink he will be left.

Just heard on Comcast that Gocong is the starter at SAM this year, until someone takes it away from him. How does this LB corps look, Spikes, Trotter, and Gocong. For the future, Gaither, Bradley, (I'm assuming he changes to a MIKE as ong as Gocong performs well) and Gocong.

That will likely be the starting rotation, since no rookies really play in Jimmy boys D. Gocong maybe be starting but i think Gaithers might take it away, also what happend to McCoy he is good in coverage, Trotter might not be in there for 3rd downs Gaither could take away Tortters 3rds on Definte pass plays

Gaither is a good WILL, but he isn't suited for SAM. He has trouble shedding blocks and isn't big enough. McCoy will probably be our teams nickel linebacker kind of like Shawn Barber last season. I think it is time Trotter is officially a two down linebacker. Gaither should get to play on third downs besides third and short.

I think we'll be suprised this summer and and undrafted free agent will make a run at the strong safety spot. I hope atleast

I'm pretty sure that Considine will start the season at SS, but Andy Reid loves competition. There will be plenty of position battles.

Their are some options in UDFA that could do it for us, it is just a matter of finding them and signing them.
