When arguing in favor of someone saying if healthy should null and void your premiss. By saying "if healthy" states that player X is not healthy and what are the real chances of plahyer x being healthy? no one knows. what are the chances player x returns to health? no one knows.
hi daunte
mark prior and kerry wood.... anyone

if you ever have to use 'if healthy' all credibilty is lost. just by stating or typing it leaves room for error and uncertainty.

I'd argue in favor of Rich Harden and bring up how dominant he would be if he could stay healthy. He isn't as damaged goods as either Prior or Wood, but simply noting how much talent a player has shown while healthy in no way removes the legitimacy of the argument.

I understand that where you are coming from as long as you state "..because when player H is healthy he has 'these stats and this amount of potential and has proven he is good" blah blah blah." That helps. But to just state it, without circumstantial evidence def nulls and voids it.
If Harden ever got 32+ starts he COULD be dominate

Harden is dominant. If he got 32+ starts he could be considered a great, but if you're measuring his dominance, there's more than enough evidence present to show that he is.

Donovan Mcnabb
would have been MVP if not for his injury he was on pace to throw for 5000+ yards and 30+ touchdowns.

If he was healthy over the years, Byron Leftwich would not be on the "hot seat."

Rick Ankiel? Wait are we just talking about physical health or mental health? If mental as well then I submit Chuck Knoblauch and Steve Sax.

We can't just exclude a guy cause he has a chance of being injured. Technically we could say it about every player.
Arjen Robben, Ricardo Carvalho, Michael Ballack, Andriy Shevchenko
i hope someone knows what im talking about
