I have a TI-84. What buttons on the calculator do I push to solve Log base 4?

I just did that in Math class. You push the 2nd F button and the ALPHA button at the same time then it will show a wierd design or thing on the screen and then press x or any other variable.

I don't think you are able to on a TI 84, logarithms are pretty straightforward though, you don't really need a calculator. Just convert it to 4^x= whatever.
