If you were the owner of an expansion team, what package of this years draft picks would you prefer?

Okoye, Grubbs and Thomas, mostly for the last two. Build up those lines and the new team is set up for years.

I'd take the 4th one. You get a stud OT, A premier OG and a great DT prospect.
yeah, I'd go Okoye/Grubbs/Thomas...

Okoye/Grubbs/Thomas.
I'll build in the trenches this year, and next year, when I still suck enough to earn top draft choices again, maybe I'll start loading up on skill players.

Okoye, Grubbs and Thomas seems the obvious pick, you build up both lines and add great talent.
But ima go with AP/Levi/Buster...Adrian Peterson is a beast and could help the team be competetive right away, Levi is a good start to your OL and IMO Buster Davis is going to be a star in this league.

I would say its pretty much a landslide choice here... you can turn an ok QB or RB into an average starter with a great OL and an above avg LB can make the pro bowl with a good DL, you can always spend your FA $ on a Good WR or RB and make a trade for that up and coming QB thats playing behind a good QB like Matt Schaub was in Atlanta or a situation like San Diego had with Rivers and Brees and not have to give up a #1 overall pick to a player like Russell and then be plagued for years like Houston has been with David Carr.

Gotta start in the trenches....I'd take Okoye, Grubbs, and Thomas.

Same as everyone else, BG, AO, and JT.
Same as everyone else, BG, AO, and JT.
Agreed, it all starts with your lines.

I went with the Russell group. Gotta get that franchise QB in there.

I took Grubbs, Okoye, and Joe Thomas.
Getting an elite LT prospect, a very solid OG, and a very young DT with loads of ability and potential would be the way I would want to start my expansion team.

The Grubbs/Thomas/Okoye one is totally unrealistic. No team can get that. I chose the Russell one, since I think it's the best realistic one.
I'm big on defense so I took Landry/Adams/Macualey. I'll get me a experienced QB.

Where did you come up with these seemingly random combinations? Or what it just that . . . random?

Brown, Peterson, Davis
would give you a stud on both sides of the ball and a franchise LT

Landry, Adams, and McCauley. has the makings of a great defense right there.

i went with ginn hall and lynch. i like ginn for obvious reasons, lynch is a great weapon for every team with his recieving ability and it is always nice to have solid corners

Landry, Gaines, and McCauley.
Landry is the QB of the defense and having Gaines put pressure on the QB forcing him to make bad decisions along with McCauley in the backfield.
I just like that option better.

You go with the three first rounders...
Everything starts in the trenches. A great O-line can make good running backs and quarterback. Gotta go with Okoye, grubbs, and thomas.

Landry Adams Marcus. started on the d side of the ball. Landry is an impact player right away. Adams a super pass rusher from day 1. And marcus can be a 2 corner at least for a while

You go with the three first rounders...So would that be Okoye, Grubbs, and Thomas or Hall, Ginn, and Lynch?

this is a very strange question
I think a better way to ask the questions would maybe pick one player that was taken from each of the first 3 rounds in this past draft. Like my mind would be:
Round 1: Adrian Peterson
Round 2: Justin Blalock
Round 3: Chalres Johnson
starting a franchise isnt all about being competitive, sure people say being competitive gets people through the turnstiles but realistically a star is needed to attract popele to the games. i still agree with the majority of the posters talking about building the trenches but im just giving another perspective that concentrates more on the business side of football
