I am winding down on finals week so I have some time. Today I will start with the ACC and list players who I think may be NFL prospects if they are either Juniors or Seniors for the upcoming season. Can someone give me a review on Matt Ryan from BC. I've heard some people talk of him as a 2nd rounder at the moment, but being from the UK i haven't had a chance to watch anything of him

Some other guys for Miami. Derrick Morse-OG/C, Darnell Jenkins-WR, Teraz McCray-DT, and I think you mixed Sharpton up with Cook or Davis, he is only a sophomore.

Pretty good list for BC, but I would probably take out Thompson and add RB Andre Callender (5-11, 205). He is probably going to get the bulk of the carries over Whitworth in Jag's system.

edit-good call Solomon, Raji should probably be on their for BC

Guys a freakin beast.

Derrius Heyward Bey is my fave receiver in the country top 10 pick in the making. At 6-3" and a track star, ran low 4.3's coming into college after a couple years in Maryland has a legit chance of running under 4.3. A mix of Ted Ginn JR., and Sidney Rice. He is a world class sprinter and at 6-3" that's crazy.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=HI-rEopKpSs:If you watch this clip simply stunning for a football player, if you watch the clock, play starts at 9:09 he gets into the endzone at 8:59. That is a 96 Yard TD Pass in 10 Seconds!!!!

http://youtube.com/watch?v=jnCm5Uhh6XE:Burns Miami again, that is a Miami DB he is burning twice in a game for long gains, you can't say that often.

For NCSU:

DeMario Pressley, DT, Sr. (6'3"/295 lbs.)
Anthony Hill, TE, Sr. (6'6"/265 lbs.)
Martrel Brown, DT, Sr. (6'2"/290 lbs.)
Miguel Scott, FS, Sr. (6'0'/205 lbs.)
Darrell Blackman, WR, Sr. (5'11"/210 lbs.)
John Dunlap, WR, Sr. (6'2"/210 lbs.)
Jimmy Sutton, CB, Sr. (5'11"/185 lbs.)
Andre Brown, RB, Jr. (6'0"/232 lbs.)
DaJuan Morgan, SS, Jr. (6'2"/210 lbs.)
Toney Baker, RB, Jr. (5'10"/220 lbs.)
Curtis Crouch, OG, Jr. (6'5"/320 lbs.)
Willie Young, DE/OLB, RS-So. (6'5"/230 lbs.)

Pressley is a DT by the way. It's kind of depressing to see all the talent on such a crappy team. Should be interesting to see what O'Brien does this year.

i heard Matt Ryan is top 10

If he has a very good senior season.. maybe top.15, IMO.

He'd fit the Offense Denver ran with Kubiak and Plummer, since his throwing while in motion is very good.

Right now I see him in the middle of the 2nd

Matt Ryan sucks he is so overrated, ACC QB's have all sucked so he gets too much hype. For anyone who thinks he is a top 10 pick you will be very wrong. At best a late 2nd rounder with a monster season.

I've been at Rutgers so long I got the years mixed up with Zuttah. I'm not sure if Davis will start at G right away. He certainly will have an opportunity to do so but Schiano might play it safe early.

Weathersuck was AWFUL last season and I'd be pissed if Xavier didn't get a fair shake this year. Xavier Lee is a much more exciting prospect, with the arm to throw the ball 70+ the size that is ideal 6'4" 220+ pounds and EXTREME mobility...I know he's got issues with accuracy, but so does Weatherford and we looked like we could move the ball more consistently with Lee because of the poor offensive line play last year.

Girault is a senior, you mean Greene.

Ray Rice isn't going to stay, the New Rochelle people have been pretty loud about that. I think we'll be ok though. Kordell Young looked great last year, and we have a **** RB coming in named Mase Robinson.

Actually, I think the OL are our best prospects. And Eric Foster, who will probably move to DE in the pros even though he could be a Rod Coleman-type.

Teel looked better as the year went on, no way he leaves early though. However, the NFL loves big guys with a strong arm. He has a much better chance than Ryan Hart ever did.

Some other names for the Big East:

UConn -

DL Dan Davis
RB Donald Brown (their best player, RS-So)
LB Danny Lansanah

Pitt -

OT Jeff Otah

Syracuse -

WR Taj Smith has been reclassified as a Junior due to medical redshirt.

I really like Gholston.

I like his "listed" height/wt, probably could add a few more pounds. He'll grow. I like the way he plays, very aggresive, mean, physical. Had a really good soph year, looking to bulid upon that.

Can't WAIT to watch Ghoslton and Jake Long go at it.

Nice work.

Some others of note:

Iowa, OT, Seth Olson (JR)
Iowa, DT, Matt Kroul (JR, projects to DE in pros)

Northwestern, C, Trevor Rees
Northwestern, OT, Dylan Thiry

Penn State, DE, Josh Gaines

Wisconsin, DT, Nick Hayden.

And the Purdue DT is Ryan Baker not Barker.

Duke has a prospect?

Wait a couple years until redshirt sophomore Vince Oghobaase comes out from Duke. He will be a force to be reckoned with either as a 3-4 DE or a 4-3 DT.

robert rose last year for OSU as a true frshmen got 4 sacks in his first 10 plays. This year he is a starter and should be dinomite. People compare him to Micheael Straham because he might be a better run stopper to go with his great pass rush skills. Hes only played football since soph year in high school I believe. Hes around 6'5 275, and just unstoppable.

I don't follow C-USA as mush as the other conferences but SirVincent Rogers of Houston is a pretty big omission. He might be the first player from the conference selected in next year's draft. I think he's playing LT this year but projects inside in the pros.

+rep, drew weathersuck is terrible. I don't think he'd start for any D1 program, except for the lower ones like FAMU, and even then... Lee seems to be winning the battle thus far, hope he wins out, is a 1st round Talent for sure! He's a more mobile JaMarcus Russell.

I just took the info from Michigan's website, and they have Bass as a junior and Manningham at 181 lbs. I did see however that Bass was injured before last season, so he may still be a soph due to a medical redshirt.

I know he is only a kicker but Wisconsin's Taylor Mehlhaff has to be a prospect as well. The guy has a boomer of a leg on kick-offs and is very accurate on field goals.

Mehlhaff was added, and anyone that made suggestions to team that have not been done yet all of those players will be put on. Thanks to everyone who has helped so far with the lists.

robert rose last year for OSU as a true frshmen got 4 sacks in his first 10 plays. This year he is a starter and should be dinomite. People compare him to Micheael Straham because he might be a better run stopper to go with his great pass rush skills. Hes only played football since soph year in high school I believe. Hes around 6'5 275, and just unstoppable.

he is listed as a backup behind Wilson and Gholston but i can definitely see him getting a lot more time this year. We have a monster front seven this year, I just can't wait!

Auburn Additions:

DT Pat Sims (JR) - NFL size and athleticism. Big recruit out of HS has impressed after quitting football and rejoining the team last year.

OG Tyronne Green (JR) - Stuck behind Grubbs/Duckworth, he's the next big defense to offense transition at the position. Getting lots of hype.

OG Leon Hart (SR) - Was a huge recruit out of HS but couldn't stick after we tried to mold him into a RT and C (Grubbs and Duckworth again held both OG spots). He now has his natural position back, unfortunately he's only got 1 year.

TE Cole Bennett (SR) - Injured early last year and missed the whole season, he received a medical redshirt and now he's back. He was big as a blocker who could catch some short passes before he got hurt.

FB Carl Stewart (SR) - Brian Leonard without the hype. He came to Auburn as a hyped RB but didn't progress as expected, he put up some pounds and now he's a RB/FB hybrid at around 235lbs. He's VERY athletic and can run the ball, also caught a lot of balls last year on wheel-routes.

Why what's funny about it? He's not saying they're all sure fire 1st rounders or even 1st day picks just that they are prospects, which they are.

The thing I find funny is Kentucky having more prospects than Florida, that can't be right.

I'm curious to see what Lumpkin does this season.

I don't neccesarilly think Kentucky has more prospects, but Florida has more unproven guys (because so many guys graduated/were drafted) and has quite a few projected sophomores starting for them this season, that's probably why they don't have alot of guys on this list.

Other guys:

Arkansas, DT, Marcus Harrison

Vanderbilt, S, Reshard Langford

Florida, TE, Tate Casey

Edit: there was an Oregon State OG I forget to mention earlier, one of the best in the nation. Roy Schuening.

I certainly wouldn't mind if all those Juniors have a GREAT year and improve their stocks to the point where they could leave early, but as of right now, King might be the only likely candidate.

I was laughing because its huge....laughing more so at the rediculous amount of talent they have. They truly are the USC of the East.

I guess that qualifies for a big homer simpson D'oh! on my part.

Yeah they could be on USC's level but they haven't reached Miami, Ohio State or some of the other elite programs in terms of talent year in and year out.

True but it's trending that way, in recent years

Michael Clayton
Marcus Spears
Joseph Addai
Jamarcus Russell
LaRon Landry
Dwyane Bowe
Craig Daivs

And those are just the first rounders since 04' that's 7 during that time Ohio St. has had 9 Miami has 11. Pretty close and by next years draft LSU will have closed the gap.

B.J. Ellis-Green, RB, Sr. (5'11"/225 lbs.)
Brent Schaeffer, QB, Sr. (6'2"/205 lbs.)

Jamarca Sanford, S, Jr. (5'10"/200 lbs.)
Nate Banks, CB, Sr. (5'11"/180 lbs.)
Michael Oher, OT, Jr. (6'5"/325 lbs.)

There are rumors that Schaeffer may not even start this year, junior Seth Adams looks to be the guy replacing him. BenJarvus Green-Ellis is a beast as is Mike Oher. Jamarca Sanford could really suprise people this season, he is a playmaker.

I think if he produces with JaMarcus, Bowe, and Davis gone then he will be. He is a beast of an athlete who definitely has round 1 potential.

oh, and add Ciron Black to the LSU list for LT. Was a Freshman All American and has the size and athleticism to be a top 5 pickYes but he won;t be eligible for the draft. The players listed should only be eligible for the draft.

Also, possible 1st rounders for LSU next year.

Early Doucet, WR, Sr. (6'0"/207 lbs.)
Will Arnold, OG, Sr. (6'4"/319 lbs.)
Herman Johnson, OT, Jr. (6'7"/351 lbs.)
Glenn Dorsey, DT, Sr. (6'2"/299 lbs.)
Tyson Jackson, DE, Jr. (6'5"/292 lbs.)

LSU would have had 5 1st rounders this year if Dorsey would have entered.

I heard his arm injury last year was so bad that he may not ever have full use of that arm again. Hope that's just a rumor or an overly pessimistic doctor's opinion, but that's the last I heard.

I thought it was a neck injury? anyways, yea im pretty sure his career is over which is a shame cause i thought he was a better CB than jonathan wade and after all the secondary players weve lost we could sure use him.

Toledo players you missed:

OG David Perkins (6'2 308)- 4 year starter
CB Nigel Morris (6'0 181)
TE Chris Hopkins (6'5 255)- Legit Mackey candidate

Morrison and Hay aren't NFL prosspects. Good college players, but won't sniff an NFL camp

One last edition to the list. Arkansas State LB Josh Williams.

And one more thing, when you added Vandy's Reshard Langford you listed him as a redshirt sophomore, he is actually a redshirt junior (as in he only has a maximum of one year of eligibility left).

Great job on the lists DevinHester, I've copied and pasted them to word documents and anytime this year there is a college game on TV I'll have some potential pro prosects to look out for.

Besides the awesome RB class I am noticing more 6'4" and above receivers than ever before. As a Packer fan if our receiver situation wasn't solved with this draft we can solve it in the next one. Same with our RB situation.
