Glad to hear it, I certainly don't want to see him play for anyone other than the Panthers.

Good, I was starting to suspect they were going to be cheap with him and might screw this up. Early reports are 6 yrs (3 he still has + 3 more)/45 million. Pretty reasonable for a player Smitty's quality I'd say
