I know the century mark for rushing yards is 100 in a game and 1000 in a season but what about the other postion stats?
Example tackles,passing yards,pancakes,sacks,etc.

Getting 1000 rushing yards in a season isn't really that hard anymore. It comes out to something like 60 yards a game, which is quite achievable.

As for the other stats...They dont really have stats like those...

100 tackles is a great achievement...
3000 or 4000 passing yards is good stuff
10 sacks in a year is deserving props.

And pancakes. Dunno if they actually take note of that stat outside of Madden.

1,000 yards used to be more impressive, especially when there was 14 games. Its just a nice round number now. Personally I look at 1,200 rushing yards as something to be proud of when you pass it.

The century mark is 100 no matter the subject.

Pancakes predominantly a madden stat. You can be a good offensive lineman without putting your man on the ground as frequently as possible.

What he ment was that 'the century mark' is what all rushers want to accomplish, and in what way does this translate to other positions.

'100' doesn't cut it. Since 100 sacks is impossible (barring miracles) and 100 passing yards in a game/1000 passing yards in a season is basic stuff for a QB.

'he had a pancake, and a waffle. with syrup on top.'
AFL quote from the Rush-Crush game over the weekend where sippo flattened some fool.

i've heard it used outside of madden (and pre-madden's using it)...
but. mostly it's in convention because of that.

7 tackles in a game is called a 'killing spree'.
15 is 'dominating'.
and 23 is 'godlike'.

I understand what he was trying to say. I was just pointing out that a 1000 yard season shouldn't be described as hitting the century mark. I have a habit of correcting people when they misuse words. Should probably have ignored it, but I was bored. Hey, now he knows though.

I don't even think 1200 is that impressive anymore, I think the new standard is 1400.

1400 new standard and 3600 passing yards and 1200 receiving yards
