could be, but we don't know that he will just be a cheerleader. he could provide some depth while the UDFA rooks get involved.

He'll have a bigger role than duce. Remember that Haynes still isn't signed so Barlow right now is our #3.

Great pick-up IMO. Take a chance on an injury prone guy again, this time, you could hit it and it could be a good 1-2 punch.

Welcome Deuce Staley 2.0

This is a little pre-emptive... way to welcome a new Steeler.

I think Barlow will really return to his could be awesome form.

There's a new Steeler Fan rule..

If you cheered for Tony Hunt and complained we didn't get him.. you can not complain about Kevan Barlow..

Man law.

Can I still complain we didnt get Tony Hunt, simply because I'm from Penn State and I have a man crush on him?

.......oh wait, thats not manly......ummmmmmm

He did hella good as a split back with Garrison Hearst. 1,000+ at 5+ ypc. I'd be happy with 750 yards at 4.5 ypc.

yes but lets not forget injuries, still dont like the man i think we could have found a better big man, hell just wait till cuts come around or players get put on the practice squad

I feel the barlow signing is that of the Wilson one execpt hes is not overly paid

I'm waiting for suggestions. As to a better power back..

the only 2 half decent guys are Dominick Williams (Davis) and Chris Brown... but I don't think they've ever finished a complete season... there's not another decent power back left.

Don't forget Wilson was a key cog to our superbowl run.. he had a monster post-season.

Could we have gotten Tony Hunt? Yes... they didn't like his speed, and felt a #2 TE was more important than a #3 RB.

Barlow isn't that much different from Tony Hunt.. Slighty quicker, more explosive.. and he's just as hard to tackle. He's been in a slide, this could be the move to bounce his career back.

Like I Said, there's no one else... and even after cuts, anyone of any worth isn't going to be around.
