Ok so i have to fly on a damn plane comming up here pretty quick and i ******* hate them, they scare the hell outta me and i cannot stand them. Last year on spring break i had to drink damn near a liter of Beam to get the courage to step on that pile of ****. All my friends tell me i'm a pus because i'm so scared of them . Am i just a weird pus, or does anyone else share this fear? also dont give me any stats i dont care if your more likely to die in a crash on the way to an airport, OOO car crash i can put on a seatbelt, when i plain crashes at 500mph into a damn fireball a seatbelt isn't going to help. heres some clips for you freaks who ride in these damn things.. terrorist also don't help the cause.

that second video was mostly military aircraft/air shows
and let me ask you a question...
do you drive a car? because you are far more likely to die in a fatal car accident than in a plane crash.

Out there in South Dakota I assume you have to take a plane to get anyplace meaningful.
According to statistics Planes are safer then cars, but I still get nervous everytime I fly somewhere.

I don't mind flying at all, infact i don't like it because it is sooooo boring. After take off it is just agonizing to have to sit there for 3,4,5-10 hours, the seats are never as comfortable as they looks and are impossible to find a good sleeping position in.
Take off is cool because of the acceleration, as is turbulence because it is rollercoaster esque...but overall yawn.

i could seriously make a thread on how i have to drive to the store and i am terrified to get in my death trap or what america likes to call it a "car". then show videos of horrific car crashes, and i would get more "yeah i would be scared if I were you too", than people agreeing that flying isnt safe, because it is one of the safiest things.

Flying is so boring.. I dont like it not because im scared of it but because I have to sit there in a little seat next to god knows who. They dont even really give you drinks & peanuts anymore. All you can do is hope you have a window seat and look at stuff outside the plane.
The worst thing about flying are the HORRIBLE movies that you have to watch, most of the time.

If you are scared of a terrorist taking over your plane then fly Southwest. Its like Carlos Mencia says "a terrorist isnt dumb enough to highjack a Southwest plane from LA and tell a black guy and mexican that they wont be landing in Oakland." I fly Southwest just for that reason and I hope I dont have to sit in between two fatasses because there is no room at all.

The idea of being in a Sardine can whizzing above the ground at 500 MPH sitting next to the fattest, smelliest, ugliest guy on the plane doesnt SOUND that appealing but its not that bad. I get a little nervous but nothing major.
