Cole a few years ago on Smackdown was terrible. I understand your point, I just disagree with it. I think that approach is stale. Pro Wrestling isn't a sport, so I always found the notion that your PBP guy should call it like a sporting event was silly. Let them have personalities. Granted, Cole's can be annoying, but at least there's something recognizable to him.
JR always had a personality to go along with it, and it is perfectly okay to have his type of personality. Hell, Scott Stanford has a hell of a personality and it doesn't come off the way Cole's personality does.
To make it more clear, I do not want Cole gone from the WWE. I thought he was a pretty good face announcer in 98/99, and he's a tremendous heel now that can gain heat as well as Vickie Guerrero. He should definitely be a manager at this point.

On RAW this week, they finally had a diva do a cool finisher instead of the typical lame ending (usually a roll up). But the mistletoe match on Smackdown took a big step back for the ladies. They must of been pressed for time.
I like anything that involves AJ.
Also as much as I like WWE 12 their online server is crap.

Yea, its definitely much improved in several departments. The storytelling is better, the pacing is better, and some fresh faces are being put into prominent roles that theyre excelling in. Roode is amazing right now.
Also, Robbie E is a total guilty pleasure of mine. I find him immensely entertaining. OHHHHH!

The rumors out there at the moment are that he's agreed to a deal pending his medical screenings being sorted out, its just taking a while for some reason, not unlike Daniel Bryan's did.
I kind of selfishly want him back in ROH too, though, cause my god ROH is bland right now and needs guys like him. Kevin Steen is the only guy who has ANY sort of personality whatsoever. Good wrestling is nice, but im sorry, I don't care about their main guys at all. Davey, Roddy, and Eddie are all so, so, so, so boring. They can have great matches, but if I dont care about the matches, if they cant get me invested, then all the fancy kicks and hold/counterhold stuff is pointless.
Cornette always rants and raves about Russo needing to realize that its not 1998 anymore. I think Cornette needs to realize that its not 1980 anymore. ROH's TV show is straight out of early 80's mid atlantic, and its SO DULL.
Claudio has been amazing in FCW so far though. Mr Antonio Cesaro! With Dean Malenko's 007 music!
Robbie E rules.
Also, I haven't watched many of the ROH shows lately.. but when I did watch, that fella Tommaso Ciampa impressed me. I like that guy a lot.

Yeah, he and Taz did make a good team. As a heel he's better than before because his personality is pretty annoying. The big problem I have now is that his character on the booth does nothing for the people in the ring. The commentators have to help get guys over too. It's not all on them, but it does a lot for a guy when you have the commentators playing up how good they are, what a win means to them, their motivations, etc. Cole spends too much time now hyping himself up and bickering with the other announcers. It's fun when it happens during one of the side promotions, but it happens far too often during the time when the focus should be on the in ring guys.

I think they should play up his Jersey Shore gimmick even more. Show him in a nightclub trying to pick up women and have him and Rob Terry get in fights with guys. (I usually don't watch entire IW shows, so maybe they already did stuff like that. If they have, feel free to jump in and point it out.)

Maybe they figure Booker T puts over guys enough by himself that Cole doesn't have to. Booker's Fab Five has about 14 guys in it at any given time.

For $100,000, Flair will: "Accompany any young lady for a night of laughter, socializing, and dancing at the most special occasion of her young life: her high school prom." However, it's noted that, "There will be no interaction outside of the building in which the prom is being held. Prom ticket, limousine transportation, and Mr. Flair's round-trip plane ticket are to be paid for by the parties involved. Mr. Flair will only be providing himself and will bring his own suit. Suitors must also pick Mr. Flair up from the airport and drive him back immediately following the prom.

Things that are good in TNA right now
-Bobby Roode as heel champion: I've been beating the Roode drum since Team Canada. He's always been my favorite person in TNA and I'm glad they've given him a chance. I'm not crazy about the stereotypical heel that wears suits, and I have no idea why he's "off the chain" but I do like Roode a lot.
-Austin Aries: He's great.
-Bully Ray: I don't think he's ever been more interesting and enjoyable to watch. To peak as a character at 41 is really quite impressive.
-Storm/Angle feud: it's been handled very well. I'm impressed they didn't do the cheap Roode v. Storm feud right out of the gate. Both characters have benefited by something different.
It's not the WWE: they don't ever talk about Twitter. I'll take it.
Things that aren't so good
Dixie Carter: Get off of the TV. You aren't interesting, you can't act, and nobody cares about you. They keep using her to build heat for their heels and it doesn't work because nobody gives a **** about her.
Announcers: Teney and Taz used to be good. 10 years ago.
Stupid angles: Nobody cares about D-Von and the kids. Nobody cares about Garrett Bischoff. At least they aren't hot shotting as much, but some of their angles are still stupid or cliche.
Veterans who contribute nothing: They could cut Steiner, RVD, Flair, Abyss, and Bischoff and nobody would care. At least Hogan is gone.
Jeff Hardy as a title contender: Jeff Jarrett was right (even if it was for a story). Hardy is a druggie and doesn't deserve the push he's getting. Should have to earn it. Push guys like Styles and Kazarian who have earned it and haven't pissed it away.

Also Randy Orton got hurt on this weeks SD taping and might miss sometime.
Being said that Orton's injury has to do with one of the discs in his back and is possible that he could miss up to 6 months if that's the case. If that's the case, this is devastating news as I firmly believed he was the favorite to win the Royal Rumble in his hometown and fight for the WHC at 'Mania. If he is out for this long, I'd expect to see the strap on Bryan longer than we all thought.

Don't get me wrong Splat.. I, just like you, would love to see Ziggler win and I think he should, but I just thought that with the way Orton has been everyone over lately and with the Rumble being in his hometown, it was the perfect time for them to start building him back up again into the title scene and I think that's exactly what they were going to do but now that it's almost certain that he misses the Rumble, Dolph, in my opinion, takes over as the prohibitive favorite to win the match.

He lost one fight before the sickness almost killed him the first time, and was damn impressive beforehand. He could have been a much better fighter if it wasn't for inches of his intestines being removed TWICE.

No, I'm talking about Brock. I know he won the championship, which is great and all, but his run was short (close to 3 months) and he lost his first title defense to Velasquez.
I was just expecting more out of his UFC run and feel that he would've been better off staying in the WWE. Just my opinion.
Dude, the guy had never trained MMA prior to entering the UFC and won the ******* championship. I love you Diab, and maybe he should have stayed in the WWE, but to belittle anything he accomplished in MMA is just ridiculous.

Royal Rumble/Mania early predictions:
Punk loses his title to Ziggler at RR, regains it at EC
Y2J wins the RR, Punk vs Jericho at Mania
Ziggler maybe makes it a Tripple Threat or he gets the MITB win at Mania
Kane eliminates Cena from the RR and from the EC, Rock gets a "cheap" win at Mania from him to further their fued
Taker vs Miz at Mania, Streak vs Streak!
Rock enters the Rumble

also Jericho was trolling that crowd hard. Eh the Taker prediction was a bit of a reach I'll admit, but I just don't know who they'll have for him to face to go 20-0, HHH is a mess and at Takers age and condition, they need a young, healthy guy to carry him a little in the match. Don't get me wrong their match this year was great, but they were both dead by the end of it and idk if HHH will even be healthy enough to wrestle. Kane seems way too busy with Cena to face Taker, which also confuses me. Why are they starting this storyline so close to WM, what is it gonna be a 2 month feud then...gone! That's why I put the interference, they need someway to keep the Kane/Cena story going.
And yea I read somewhere they wanna bring the MITB match back.

I think a Del Rio/Undertaker match at Wrestlemania would work, assuming Del Rio's injury is all cleared up in time. Alberto has said it's his dream match and The Undertaker is a fairly big deal in Mexico.. not that it matters here, but maybe it could increase the buyrate in Mexico or something. Who knows if they've even invented PPV in Mexico yet.
Aside from Del Rio, they could go for Wade Barrett or Dolph Ziggler as opponents. They could both 'believably' beat The Undertaker. I don't think anyone expects the streak to end, and it shouldn't, but they have to create some drama and make people think that maybe perhaps they decided to put this guy over The Undertaker.

A few random thoughts from the beginning of Raw. Wow Kane's speech was **** and just a cheap attempt to put over Cena more, however I did find it funny that Cena was gonna smash him with the crowbar. Was Cena going to murder him if Kane didn't punch him in the throat?
Also, the first tag match is so foreign. An Indian, Irishman, "Italian", and Brit. The funny part is that a Brit and Indian are teaming up together considering historical tensions. Would I be the only person that would find it awesome for Barrett and Mahal to team up with Barett treating Mahal like a second class citizen. Then Mahal would get pissed so Barett makes him a maharaja or gives him some other ******** title to placate him. I think that might just be me.

obviously D Bry...seeing as how he's the only real top face(other than Orton) on Smackdown. With D bry established as a heel champ and him already retaining vs Show, there is slim pickings on SD's roster as far as faces go. With Orton already still feuding with Barrett, that leaves Sheamus as the next best face to challenge D bry
kind of a weak Rumble, IMO. Punk vs Jericho is still probably going to happen at WM...all signs point to that, but I did think he was going to win the rumble

He was my third favorite to win the Rumble, and I absolutely expected him to win a month ago before they pushed him to the side. It's not that unpredictable. I wasn't a big fan of the Rumble last night for a few reasons...
-More making Drew look like total garbage for no reason
-More of Ryder looking like a pissant (unless he ends up beating Kane later)
-Cena/Kane still continuing
-A much weaker Ziggler/Punk match than what they are capable of (and what they did on Raw in November), which really made Ziggler look like an ass
-Not having Goldust in the Rumble to eliminate Cody and set up Cody/Goldust at Mania
-No Regal
-Big Show eliminating the two Iron Men of the Rumble at the same time with ease
I am bored as all hell with Sheamus because of his godawful booking the last few months, but I hope they take him somewhere with this storyline. Also, more Ricardo please. Lots and lots more Ricardo.

Well I think that was the first step in Punk vs Jericho for Mania. I think he will win at EC as well leading to their title match, although I wouldn't be shocked or upset if they made it a Triple Threat with Ziggler involved too.
Also, the more I think about it the less upset I am about Sheamus. Like you guys said, it was a pleasant surprise. It gets one of the top faces back in the title picture. Also, setting up Punk vs Jericho without Jericho winning RR is a hell of a lot easier than setting up Bryan vs anyone. Bryan was stuck in a dead end story line vs two giants. Setting him up vs Sheamus is great. Sheamus is the top face on SD! aside from Orton, but at least Orton can face Barrett at Mania while Sheamus had nothing going for him aside from Mahal.
Also, the best thing about this Rock vs Cena match at Mania is Cena has been out of the title picture for a while now and a lot of these younger guys are shining through as it also opened up room for Jericho after his return.

As good as that match was, it was a one time thing and there won't be a feud between those two. They needed to do something to begin setting up Punks Mania match and that was the best way to do it in their minds. I would have preferred if they waited till the end of the match for the attack on Punk, but having Bryan win by DQ as celebrate continues to add to his new weasel gimmick.

Rock vs. John Cena
Triple H vs. The Undertaker
CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho
Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan
That is a pretty good start to a WM card if it plays out like that.

I demand Taker/Haitch be in a Cell (post Mania, since theyre in a stadium for Mania). It's amazing to me that the two 'masters' of the Cell have never wrestled in one.
Triple H vs The Undertaker, Hell in a Cell.
Make it happen.

Miz completely bailed on protecting Truth as Truth did a dive over the top. Looked like he hit his head pretty hard.
Miz pussing out might have just cost Truth his PPV spot, and if bad enough, his Mania appearance and payday.

Kennedy was released after nearly hurting Orton, but that was more of the proverbial straw that broke the camels back than what actually happened. Lots of stuff was going badly for Kennedy at the time. Like Brodeur said, he had lots of major people in the comapny who straight up didnt like him.
Plus, Orton is MUCH more important than Truth.
I doubt Miz is punished, at least to the point of missing out on PPVs (especially Mania). It was a bad screwup, but its not like he did it on purpose.

Triple H met with The Miz about failing to catch R-Truth after his over-the-top-rope somersault plancha on last night’s Raw Supershow. Truth is fine after the spot but Hunter was “pretty upset” over it and let The Miz know as much backstage.

The Russo details seem to be as such:
He wasnt booking anymore, and hasnt for a few months since Prichard took over. He was still writing the shows though, and was on the creative staff under Prichard.
Dave Lagana will be taking over Russo's role of writing the angles that Prichard comes up with.
