Oden said he would like to stay all four so realistically i could see at least one more year at OSU. I'm not sure but i think i heard that Durant is already one foot out the door. In my opinion he needs at least one more year in college but i guess he'll be fine if he just spends all offseason and his first NBA season in the weight room.

Let me clear something up, I HATE Duke with a passion. But they are a top 15 team, whether you like them or not. Paulus is playing better lately, Scheyer is heating up, McRoberts still isnt playing to his potential, but is still one of the best players in the conference. Virginia is a solid team, Singeltary is a great player and reynolds is good, but they dont have much inside presence, and if you think they are better than Duke you need to think again.

That was one helluva game last night. UVA's got a fairly easy 2nd half schedule. Reynolds game has really taken off of late, finally meeting some of the expectations he had when he came to UVA.

Good recruiting potential for the future bodes well ... although if Singletary leaves, Zeglinski would be thrust into a tough situation.

I think there is a chance that UNC vs. Duke could be a blowout ... but I think there's also a chance that it's a much better game than some think. College basketball is the one game where, while depth is always preferred, it isn't as significant, as a well-coached team that utilizes their timeouts can succeed. With the relative inexperience of UNC this year, it does seem that if a team can get superb guard play and slow the game down, they can keep it close. Now, this would require Greg Paulus to be on top of his game, but Duke has the potential of doing that if Paulus is on, as they'll play solid team D. Not saying Duke will win, but I think this could be a very intriguing game if Paulus is playing well. If Paulus is struggling, yeah, they'll probably be smacked around.

We actually beat Indiana too and Michigan State isn't ranked.

They dropped out a week before we played them, and they had just lost a nail bitter to the Buckeyes. So they were basically ranked when we played them, only not really. :lol:

Still though you've yet to beat a ranked team this season. Indiana wasn't ranked when you played them, and we beat them when I believe they were at #22 or #23 and coming off of a loooong win steak.

And again, if you had lost the likes of Randolph, Bradley, Crawford, etc this season, it'd be a totally different ball game.

Trent Meacham, Shaun Pruitt, Calvin Brock, Rich McBride, Brian Carlwell, and Marcus Arnold are the only players that have not been injured this season.

That means Jamar Smith, Chester Frazier, Warren Carter, Richard Semrau, and Brian Randle have all missed games this season. Smith has missed about 8 or 9. Fraizer has missed I believe 2 or 3, but he's battled foot injuries all year. Carter has missed I believe 1 or 2. Semrau has missed the entire season. And Randle has missed at least 10 games it seems like. Those are 5 of our best players being out at some point this season. I'd say we've done damn well for the stuff that's happened. Oh and McBride missed 4 games due to suspension.

He's going to be amazing in Cream N Crimson. When's the last time we had a recruit go off for 43 pts in a nationally televised game. Not even Josh Smith did such a thing. I can't wait. Just can't wait.

Yes, I'm talking next year. They likely will have to win the Big East tounrament to make the tourney this year. Calhoun actually schedule the LSu and Indiana games to be played prior to the Big East schedule but the dates were moved to accomadate TV. So he doesn't just get cake schools. He has vowed that he will make the schedule tougher for next year.

It'll be close to begin with but I think UNC pulls away. I wouldn't be surprised though to see Duke win b/c UNC has been inconsistent at times this season.
