Based on original draft order

OAK-Jake Long OT Michigan

DET-Jared Gaither OT Maryland - way too high and probably wouldn't go this direction if they were sure enough about their line to pass on Joe T this year

CLE-Darren McFadden HB Arkansas - they don't have this pick

TB-Antoine Cason CB Arizona - Probably way too high

ARI-Lawerence Jackson DE USC - not the speed rusher that they'd like

WAS-Kenny Iwebama DE Iowa - too high especially above Campbell

MIN-Brian Brohm QB Louisville (Assuming Jackson doesnt produce)

HOU-Glenn Dorsey LSU - not with Kenny Phillips or Baker on board.

MIA-Sam Baker OT USC

ATL-Alley Broussard HB LSU - why??????

SF-Frank Okam DT Texas

I'll post the rest later

I think Broussard will suprise people and he'll become ATL's new Duckett

Though I dont think they will take a DT they have been very disappointed with Travis Johnson havent they?

Is this if the Browns have their 1st overall still?

he was out of position in a 3-4 his first year and injured all of his second year...that being said, he and okoye are the same type of player, so he would qualify as a disappointment in my opinion...we still won't go dl in the first, though, regardless of that...

going into the next off-season, our top needs will likely be, in no order, RB, WR, OC, SLB, CB, FS...damn we have a lot of holes...not gonna be a fun season...

I think you must reorganize the order because I dont see the Raiders being that bad, or the Cleveland Browns or Arizona

He's just using the 07 draft order so no one can complain. I guess it didn't work.

49ers have the Colts pick, althought I can't imagine the Colts picking that high.

Duckett was horrible for us despite his TD's... he was a waste of space and ran like a little girl unless he was inside the 20. I doubt we go Broussard because he just isn't good enough to go 1st Day IMO... I think we go with a OT or a NT before anywhere else too. especially if Gaither comes out. Gaither would be out new LT and will help with the size increase on the line. by 2009 we should have a full 150 pound increase from the Gibbs line in 2006.

2006
LT - Wayne Gandy - 6'4" 315
LG - Matt Lehr - 6'3" 301
C - Todd McClure - 6'2" 286
RG - Kynan Forney - 6'3" 307
RT - Todd Weiner - 6'5" 300

2009 assuming we get Gaither and Forney gains some weight:
LT - Jared Gaither - 6'9" 345
LG - Justin Blalock - 6'3" 320
C - Doug Datish - 6'4" 305
RG - Kynan Forney - 6'3" 320
RT - 2009 draft pick
that goes from tiny to huge in 2 seasons.

Give the redskins a CB or WR and it will be ok.

Shawn Springs, is still a good #2, and Rogers is a developing prospect. Santana is one of the best in the game and Antwan and Lyod could still emerge. Most of their secondary problems could be fixed w/ a better D-Line

Broussard is 1st round talent. Easily. He just needs a better work ethic.

My favorite Broussard run ever.

OT going #1 is not very likely. If the Raiders had the #1 pick they would either draft D.McFadden or trade down to a team that wants B.Brohm or D.McFadden.

I dont understaand the reasoning behind taking a RB, when they have 3 potential starters. The root of this team's problems were at OL.

I was gonna finish today, but got side tracked

I just don't like the Gaither pick. He has character to issues and just hasn't put it together. Probably play RT for the Lions anyways and Jake Long would be a better prospect for that position.
