What are you time limits and such?

Time limit is don't be an a-hole and take forever. If we all agree that a person is obviously taking too long, he will be bypassed and can make his selection whenever he decides to show up. I know people have other things to do, but it's definitely a matter of hours, not days.

Is this a joke? Do you understand the concept of this? You're trying to make a band.

band1 /bænd/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation

An hour is not fair. thule made his pick at 2 o'clock this morning. Chances are most of us weren't on at the time.

I'll take the blame for not making the time limits more clear. Dia will get until 5 o'clock to make his pick. For every pick after that, the time limit will be... 5 hours seems about right.

It'd be awfully nice if you wouldn't interrupt this draft.

BTW - Keith Moon and it's not even close? Ginger Baker is every bit as good as Moon when it comes to rock drumming, and Baker is also one of the greatest jazz drummers ever. Ginger is so underappreciated. If he would have died young, his name would be mentioned right up there with Moon and Bonham.

2. Jim Morrison

So it seems as though he was going to pick Jim Morrison.

Did you read the original post when you signed up? It clearly stated the rules, one of which was that this will be a snake draft. I edited all that out after the draft started, because I thought anybody who had signed up would have been smart enough to read the ******* rules BEFORE they signed up. Guess I was wrong...

Good job guys, I was not expecting to get to work this morning and it be my pick. Nice.

Just wondering, when this is all over with and I run the poll, do you guys think I should put the band affiliation next to each musician? Just in case somebody doesn't recognize the name? I'd like some input.

I'll have my pick up in a few minutes! I'm torn!

Sorry, it's just that a blend of "gangsta" Rap, Grunge/Alternative, and Progressive Rock doesn't really sound like it could work in my opinion.

First of all, Tupac is and was able to do much more then "Gangsta rap"..he wasn't a ignorant "gangsta" he can blend with many genres and is the best artest ever.

Grundgey stuff with Kurt Kobain I'll admit i got off track there.

With Neil Purt he can give some killer sounds for Tupac, and Geddy Lee has bass and can be the akon in Young Jeezys song

I'm not going to argue with you or anything because it's your band and I really don't care, but I would think that, when putting together a band, you should probably pick people who have, you know, been in a band.

You can claim to be "adding" members to your little heart's delight, but I'll only be counting the five picks that were made, as was stated in the rules in the original post. By choosing to disregard those rules, you're making yourself look like an immature idiot. In any case, I will only acknowledge the five band members that were drafted in the poll I run.

Just incase it isn't obvious my band is right on that edge of alt/grunge/screamo.

If you have ever listened to dropping daylight and some of their harder stuff...the instrumentals would sound quite similar. Throw in a bit harder guitar aka Tuck from Bullet for my valentine...pretty distinct guitar sound from him. Mosley will be the lead...but Tuck will get into some of the harder stuff.
