Since we have a bunch of other movie related threads up I figured I would start one.

Who is your favorite Actor/Actress of all time?

Mine is easy, I have always thought Harrison Ford was a great actor and enjoyed almost every movie he is in.

How about you?

Harrison Ford is hard to beat. Mel Gibson and Sean Connery pretty well kick ass too, though.

Daniel Day-Lewis - Guy does like one movie every 3 years and absolutely kills every role he does. Goes into "hibernation" before every movie he does and then doesn't leave character until he is done with the movie.

You've seen him in Gangs of New York and Last of the Mohicans.

Other great actors in my opinion

Leonardo DiCaprrio
Christain Bale - American Pyscho anyone?

Wootylicous

Al Pacino (the best actor IMO)

Al Pacino...Typecasted throughout his career, but he can do virtually any role.
Jim Carrey....One of the funniest human being alive, he can do serious roles too.
Tom Hanks....He's always in great movies, and he's a big part of why they are great.
Ed Harris.....AWESOME in "the Rock"
Jerremy Irons....VERY underrated actor in US

Christopher Walken - he's just the man, can play a role in any type of movie, just watch him on deer hunter followed by any skit of him on SNL(obviously cowbell, but i absolutely loved The Continental skits) and he's played other comedy roles as well.

Plus the guy can flat out dance...

Man that's a tough question:

Will Farrell
Johnny Depp
Vince Vaughn
Edward Norton
Chris Farley

Johnny Depp is the best in the business right now IMO. The same guy did Edward Scissor Hands, Jack Sparrow, the guy from Blow, and the guy from Finding Neverland. Just a fantastic all around actor, can do anything.

Actress would probably be Brittany Murphy or Dakota Fanning...both are part of a select few of females that can actually act.

his footwork is absolutely pheonomenal.
hands, not so much, he does't have 'sharp' hands which would go with his footwork. but. god. on the table near the end. he's a machine.

He's not as famous as some others, but he gets TONS of roles. Producers know how good he is.

He's one of my favorites also.

How about this, who is everyones favorite Bond?

I like Goldeneye the most out of every movie, and I thought Brosnan was awesome in it, so I go with him.

Also, I don't think the new guy (Daniel Craig?) is that bad, I really liked Casino Royale.

Daniel Craig is good. He's probably the 2nd best Bond, behind only Connery and slightly ahead of Brosnan.

Leonardo DiCaprio - just killing it. (aviator, departed, blood diamond)

Ed Norton - (fight club, 25th hour, the score)

I'd say Bill Murray, mainly because he's amazingly talented in both comedy and drama and he's also very consistent(not counting Garfield).

Ed Norton
Bruce Willis(no one mentioned him, but I especially liked Tears of the Sun, and I like him more for his support of the military than anything else. A little know fact is Bruce Willis tried to enlist in the military, and shockingly, the infantry, following 9/11. He was turned down because he was too old.)
Brad Pitt
Leo Dicaprio

Edward Norton (Fight Club, American History X... wow)
Denzel Washington (he's awesome)
Kevin Spacey (American Beauty and Se7en)
Clive Owen (Closer, Arthur, Inside Man...)
Willem Defoe (haven't seen much of him here, but he's a great actor)
Russel Crowe (for A Beautiful Mind and Gladiator)
Tom Hanks (see Denzel)
Johnny Depp (because... I want to be him dammit!)
Leo DiCaprio (Titanic was afwul but Catch me if you can, the Aviator, the departed and the good shepard put him up there)

I'd put Brad Pitt up there as well... but Meet Joe Black keeps me back, that movie was so bloody awful I damn near killed myself after seeing it. Same goes for Anthony Hopkins.

Stereotypes , typecasts and blanket statements are cool !

You really should watch something other than Mad TV and the Comedy Channel to get your information.

......for all DeNiro / Pacino fans...good news !. They're teaming up for the first time since 1995's Heat for a new movie due out (I believe) in 2008

Seriously what's the love affair with this guy ? His acting is very 1 dimentional. He plays the angry black guy. Find me a movie where he plays something other than that ...then we'll talk.
