I have family there so I know a few. Babbo is going to be hard to get a reservation. A good one is Giambelli 50th.

Babbo is nice, but if she likes sushi tell her to go to Masa.

One of my favorites.

Of course I'm gonna suggest Nobu, but that'll run the bill up pretty fast, Becho's (sp?) is nice and always at the top of Zaggats, Carmines is good family style italian for not a horrible price. Don't know what types of foods she likes.

I trust Damix with my life when it comes to NY. I'd go with what he says.

White Castle.

But if you want a restaurant? I am a fan of Nobu.

I'm not helpful with a question like this because I really don't go to nice places. Tau is nice for Asian cuisine. But I normally got a place called Silk Road. Its tiny, not so nice, but for a 10-12 bucks you can get a meal and as much ****** wine as you can drink.

I'd suggest Carmines as well if you're looking for Italian. Good food.

me three. every time i go to ny i go there.

casa mono isn't bad either. (baccala is awesome).

it's just really hard to pick a place if you don't know 'where' they're gonna be... are we assuming manhattan? queens? brooklyn? i just assumed manhattan, because that's where 'everyone' goes when they say they're going to new york. it also

also a tab limit might be good. because, hell, i've been to a resturant with four people and have the bill go somewhere north of six hundred. (four courses, four bottles of wine. it's really not that hard.) but if they wanna keep the bill under $125 a person (i'm not joking either)... well, ****. most the time i'm in manhattan, i'm on the company dime. nevermind. yeah. good luck?

ftw. i can't hit the R by accident? (i.e. frw?)

if you were refering to prix fixe.

prix fixe - [PREE FIHKS; PREE FEEKS] A French phrase meaning "fixed price," referring to a complete meal served by a restaurant or hotel for a preset price. Sometimes a menu offers several choices for each course for this set price
