After Mcfadden and Stewart, things get a little mixed up. No need to list any specific order, just give me the top 10 RB's that you think will enter. I'll tally up the votes (even tho its not a poll) and ill list the top 10 once posts start to slow down.

Well, McFadden is the only one. Stewart, Slaton, etc will all be ranked based on their performance this year.

I really like James Davis and Ian Johnson. Some say Johnson is a system RB but I don't think so.

PJ Hill will only be a sophomore this year too but I really like him alot.

He is built like a dlinemen there is no way he should be a top 10 RB prospect for the NFL.

No, but they have two of who I think are the three best RB prospects for the 2008 draft. There's a couple guys better than Felix Jones and Jonathan Stewart who are freshmen and sophomores next year.

how would u know if their freshman?

keylime_5
05-23-2007, 06:25 PM
I'm sure there will be some freshman who are better than some of those guys. Other than McFadden this RB class is not that exciting. Chris Wells among a few others are some sophomores who are certainly better prospects than Stewart and Jones

-black
05-23-2007, 06:30 PM
i know, im just saying you cant really say a freshman (who hasnt even graduated yet or competed with the team) is better than an established prospect...maybe more talented. The only way it can be justified that a freshman is better than an established starter pre season is if the freshman outperforms and beats that player out of a starting job in summer (or spring if they enrolled early)

sorry for venting, i just hate that

Auburn had that with Cadillac Williams and Ronnie Brown, it's really not too surprising.

Green-Ellis is a tank. It is homerish of me, but he is definitely one of my favorite college RB's right now. I think Felix Jones will suprise a lot of people, he could sneak in to round 1. He will get his fair share of touches even with McFadden.

how do u like my boy Dexter McCluster? grew up with him, played peewees and high school with him. Im hoping he becomes special for yall and he was having an All Freshman type season before he got injured

Don Vito
05-23-2007, 07:22 PM
He had a great freshman year, hope he continues to be solid next year. He definitely stood out when watching on TV, I'm gonna be a frosh next year so I haven't seen him in person. Regardless, he looks like a solid player and he had a great (injury shortened) freshman campaign. He is small but can catch the ball and can certainly make the big play.

Felix Jones had a great year last year splitting carries. His numbers were great for a back who gets a full load even. I wonder what kinda stats McFadden or Jones would've put up if they didn't have the other to share the load with.

Don Vito
05-23-2007, 09:18 PM
I really think they both have potential to be first rounders. They both have good size, speed, and playmaking ability. If Jones wasn't playing alongside McFadden I think he could possibly be better off, I think he can handle 30 touches a game and be a feature back. McFadden seems to be in a fine situation with Jones at his side, he looks to be a potential #1 pick right now.

Totally forgot about him since CJ was the focal point on that offense. I saw a few games and he had some great runs. Last year was definately his breakout year but let's see what he can do without CJ getting all the attention.
