Yes, Thomas is gone. Evidently lasted in camp for about 12 minutes...Does the guy have any chance of making it in the league? Or is his career over?

This was reported a week ago or so. If he can't last 12 minutes in mini-camp, he has no future in this league.

He'll have a shot if he loses about 40 lbs.

The chances of that happening are slim to none. From everything I've heard, Thomas has a bad attitude, work ethic, and has some major off-the-field issues.

bro, when you can rap and gangbang like he can, who needs the NFL??

Just kidding, but his myspace was pretty bad.

Damn, I really wanted to see what he was capable of. I hate it when NFL players have lazy work ethic and just waste the amazing athletic ability that they have.

apparently stamina was not one of his "amazing athletic talents." 12 minutes and he's so gassed he's gotta be carried off the field? That's funny.

He needs to run sprints for 2 months straight and then give it another shot.

he'd die if he had to run for two months.

If an undrafted FA gets his own thread i think he as a chance at the NFL, but if all the talk about a bad work ethic and attitude is true he simply won't be in the NFL.

Ill copy and paste what someone very intelligent wrote on another board. He said it the best.

1) He's an UDFA. This means he has everything to prove and no guarantees at all.

2) He got injured. We're talking about non-padded drills. As in drills about staying low and swatting hands away and moving the feet constantly and so on. He got injured. For a DL, this is the physical equivalent of a father/son game of catch in the backyard leading to a torn rotator cuff for pop.

3) He was HELPED OFF THE FIELD. Think about it. You pull a hamstring or strain a muscle, you at least limp it off. Players have broken fibulas and forearms and slipped disks and still walked off the field. If you pull or tweak or yank something, you limp your butt off to the side and see a trainer. He was HELPED OFF THE FIELD after non-contact! There is no injury that calls for that. Heck, a broken ankle on a bad step still gets the cart out. Can anyone really name a non-contact injury that requires help off the field that isn't severe enough to warrant a cart and an ER visit?

There is only one solution. The kid, to use a more PC term, is a complete wuss. He pulled or hurt a muscle and couldn't even limp his big rear end to the sideline without crying for help. THIS was the massive man-eating NT who would gobble space up like a behemoth? He suffered a pulled muscle and whined like a 2-year old stubbing their toe. How is he going to react in pads when a pair of 300 lbs, starting NFL players smack him each with the force of a pickup truck and much harder than he felt in junior college? If he gives up that easily, I'd cut him too.
