that was on that scarred show on mtv... that one is kind of tame compared to some of the other injuries they have shown.

That one's bad, but I thought Theismann's was grosser.

By far the worst injury I've ever seen.

Man that's crazy!

And those scarred people are a bunch of skinny people who are weak and can't even bench there body weight. That show is wack. Now the Raiders dude is scary and Theismann are scary because those are tough Football Players.

What was that 6 plates?

Also, that is a horrible squat rack. There is no bar to save someone from falling.

I remember seeing it or seeing a clip when I was pretty young. I'm not even going to click to see it again.

I blew both of my knees playing football... still remember the play. Waggle 921. This fatty DT comes and gives me a direct hit to my knees and now I am very slow. I ran a 4.6, now I run a 5.1 or 5.0

I thought the clip was gonna be really gross, but it actually made me chuckle a little because he looked like on of those half man, half beast creatures from Narnia. Still a brutal injury though.

I actually saw a guy on my teams ankle snap in half this season. As bad as it is to watch this stuff on the interwebz, 10x worse in person. Makes me cringe thinking about it.

McCallum suffered a complete hyperextension of his left knee, almost to a right angle. He suffered a ruptured artery in his left knee, and tore three ligaments, tore the calf and hamstring from the bone, and suffered nerve damage in the knee.

It's amazing that the guy can even walk.

Tyrone Prothros is pretty nasty, his ankle just snaps in two.

I'm surprised no one has posted a video of EJ Henderson's leg injury this year. It just flopped unnaturally. Wasn't pretty. But most of these I would prefer not to see. I'm very squeemish.

The nastiest one I can remember is a college player. As he runs through the end-zone on a pass play, his leg plants under a trailer and snaps like a twig. It still makes me shiver.

That would be Tyrone Prothro. That's the one reference just a few posts above.

No. It's been posted here before. The kid runs through the far side of the end-zone and there is this lawn tractor with a trailer on it and his leg hits the thing and just snaps. Nasty video!

What a terrible place to have something like that. They have pads on the ends of the field for a reason!

I'm not gonna watch, but the idea of blowing out my knees doing squats is precisely why I never use heavy weights during that exercise. There's just no reason to go heavy with squats unless you are a pro athlete or something. You can put plenty of stress on your muscles using proper form and high reps without the heavy weight. I'm assuming the guy is using heavy weight, obviously.
