How high is his ceiling? Who would be a good comparison prospect wise?

Casey Printers is better.

He's got a fantastic arm and seems to have a very good grasp of the position, but size and durability are pretty big concerns. If he can stay healthy I'd say he'd made a very solid starter.

He has no knees left. The Chiefs probably would have taken Quinn if he had fallen another spot.

Neither did Frank Gore

I think I just threw up a little in my mouth...

Watching him play in preseason made me cringe.

Neither did Joe Namath, the great quarterback who's records at Alabama all have been broken by none other than Brodie Croyle.

No, they actually tried to trade down with Cleveland as well but they wanted Cleveland's 2nd and 3rd rounder but Cleveland wanted to keep another pick on the first day so they gave up there 1st round pick next year to get Dallas' pick in the first round.

Joe Namath had knees coming into the Pros.

Brodie has everything it takes to be a good QB in the NFL.Injuries and height are his only problems.

I love Eric Wright, but that makes me mad I would rather have next year's 1st then this years third...

I think of him like this, McNair's knees, Bree's body but Kerry Collins arm.

Best case scenario, Kurt Warner sort of, Worst case: Billy Volek.

He said in pre-season. They were both horrible in pre-season last year.

Joe Namath was terrible.

Good point. Croyle was lesser of too evils last year.

The thing I love about Croyle is even after he threw his INT's he never lost confidence. He quickly came back and took another shot downfield. He has that gunslinger mentality. I think Croyle has a much better shot at becomming the QBOTF, but Chiefs fans have given up on Printers way too soon.

I hate to say this, but the first time I saw Croyle in a Chiefs uniform I thought he was a punter.

I have seen pictures of him this year and he looks like he has gotten a little bigger. I would say he is just as big as Huard or Green.

If Brodie Croyle starts 16 games for the Chiefs they will have a serious problem, because if he's the guy, then they can't take Brohm, and they have LJ so they can't take McFadden.

if he starts 16 games and your in position to get Brohmn then he is your problem and you grab Brohmn

he was only a 3rd rounder its not like you have that much invested in him

I don't get how that is a problem? If Croyle starts 16 games that likely means that Croyle is the QBOTF like they think he is. If he starts 16 games then we probably have no need for another QB unless he is just for depth.

We're going OT or CB in round 1 next year, not QB.

The Cowboys "GM" (who was a KC scout just a few years ago and still has connections there) said that KC was without a doubt taking Quinn.

What makes Brohm so impressive that we would need to take him?

We have bigger needs than QB such as a franchise left tackle or youth at cornerback.

How is that a problem?

The Chargers have LT so they can't draft McFadden, that is the problem.

Does that make any sense to you?

Yea I don't consider having to not take a QB or RB a problem.

Lol, calm down everyone, it was a joke; implying that if Croyle starts 16 games the Chiefs will have the first pick in the draft.

No, pulling up to a drive thru's first window and saying "I have no money, I'm just driving through." and then pulling up to the second window and taking the food of the person behind you, now THAT is a great joke.

Croyle is smart, accurate, and hasa very strong arm. He's got everything you could possibly want in a QB. There's pne thing though. He cannot stay healthy. He never will. If he could find some way to stay healthy, he could be a top QB. His potential is huge, but he'll just never be able to stay healthy.

The Raiders had other pressing needs, along with a 3rd round QB on their roster, but they still drafted JaMarcus.

That's because they had the worst offense in the NFL last year, and that 3rd round QB didn't do well at all. The Raiders had quite a few needs, but QB was at the top of the list.

That 3rd round quarterback was given a chance to prove himself and he failed. Croyle has not been given that chance yet so until then we don't need Brohm or any other quarterback.

I don't know if Croyle will be able to stay healthy behind our mediocore O-line if he does he will be an awesome QB.
