Abiamiri at 16 to play OLB? Don't know about that. Colts using a first and second to get DTs? Another one I don't like.

Not a bad Miami pick.

Great Cardinals pick.

Bad Colts pick. DT is not a first round need, give us Rouse.

Bad Colts pick. DT is not a first round need, give us Rouse.

Rouse is not a 1st round value. Colts need somebody who can stop the run.

Not a bad Miami pick.

Abiamiri had a good year and he will post very impressive combine numbers I'm predicting. He has the skills to play the rushbacker position, something the Jets need desperately.

What do you mean by the Colts using a first and second to get DTs? This is only a 1 round mock draft.

Great Cardinals pick.

Bad Colts pick. DT is not a first round need, give us Rouse.

Rouse is not a 1st round value. Colts need somebody who can stop the run.

Anthony McFarland and Corey Simon will be a very good DT combo next year. Rouse is early 2nd value but so was Joseph Addai. We tend to reach for need and Rouse fills a need.

Addai jumped up draft boards after having a better than expected combine and workouts. I doubt that will happen with Rouse.

If there's any DT I want, it's Okoye, so while it doesn't really fill a need, it's an okay pick IMO. I'd still prefer a LB though.

Addai did better than was expected so it doesn't really matter how you think he will do at the combine. And even after the combine, he was expected to early to mid 2nd.

With Jordan's injury, I'm expecting to see A LOT of this. Peterson's injury concerns worry me though... Don't get me wrong, I have liked AD for a long time--I think he got jipped out of the Heisman just because he was a freshman, but I'm worried about his durability. First his ankle and now his collarbone...

[size=18]22. Carolina Panthers :: Michael Griffin - Safety - Senior - Texas

Like the pick.

29. San Diego Chargers :: Jeff Samardzija - Wide Receiver - Senior - Notre Dame

Absolutely HATE this pick. We have enough slow 6'4 guys on our team, kthnx. Give us ILB, OG, S, or a speedy WR.

I can almost guarantee you that Tennessee will not take an OT. Our offensive line has been the best unit on the team this year. The only thing we need on the OL is interior guys to learn behind Mawae and Benji Olson. Our OT's are both 24 years old. We may pick an OT in the late rounds for depth, but not starters.

Not alot other to select from, but I would've went with either Jarrett, Hall, Landry, or McCauley.

I'd take Buster Davis or HB Blades over Samardzija at that point in the 1st round. Samardzija is a much worse value for the chargers than davis or blades would be.

Buster Davis doesn't really fit into the 3-4 and would be a reach at that point. Blades is nowhere near a 1st rounder.

10. St. Louis Rams :: Leon Hall - Cornerback - Senior - Michigan

After spending the 15th pick on Tye Hill last year? Doubtful, IMO. Rams need corner help but would be better served bringing in a vet as opposed to another first round rookie.

Moses' Mock Draft
November 21, 2006

1. Detroit Lions :: Brady Quinn - Quarterback - Senior - Notre Dame

I don't know if DET fans will like this, but they need a change up there.

2. Arizona Cardinals :: Joe Thomas - Offensive Tackle - Senior - Wisconsin

3. Oakland Raiders :: Adrian Peterson - Running Back - Junior - Oklahoma

4. Houston Texans :: Calvin Johnson - Wide Receiver - Junior - Georgia Tech

We don't need a receiver, but I would absolutely love Calvin Johnson.

5. Washington Redskins :: Gaines Adams - Defensive End - Senior - Clemson

6. Cleveland Browns :: Alan Branch - Defensive Tackle - Junior - Michigan

7. Tampa Bay Buccaneers :: Ted Ginn Jr. - Wide Receiver - Junior - Ohio St.

8. Tennessee Titans :: Jake Long - Offensive Tackle - Junior - Michigan

Their tackles have been pretty solid, guards are bad.

9. Minnesota Vikings :: Dwayne Jarrett - Wide Receiver - Junior - USC

10. St. Louis Rams :: Leon Hall - Cornerback - Senior - Michigan

11. Green Bay Packers :: Marshawn Lynch - Running Back - Junior - Cal

12. Miami Dolphins :: Marcus McCauley - Cornerback - Senior - Fresno St.

28. Denver Broncos :: DeMarcus Tyler - Defensive Tackle - Senior - North Carolina St.

29. San Diego Chargers :: Jeff Samardzija - Wide Receiver - Senior - Notre Dame

They don't need a WR as bad as ILB, but there's noone here so solid.

30. Baltimore Ravens :: Michael Bush - Running Back - Junior - Louisville

31. Chicago Bears :: Rufus Alexander - Outside Linebacker - Senior - Oklahoma

Good, if Briggs is gone.

32. Indianapolis Colts :: Amobi Okoye - Defensive Tackle - Junior - Louisville

I couldn't care less who is a reach. Samardzija is the biggest reach of the first round, especially to San Diego. Again, we do not need slow, nonathletic 6'4" possession receivers. We already have osgood, floyd, and jackson for that. as well as that gates guy. we need someone to stretch the field and THAT IS ALL. I could see Weddle, Beekman, Davis, Williams, or even Okoye to backup big Jamal at NT.

8. Tennessee Titans :: Jake Long - Offensive Tackle - Junior - Michigan

Their tackles have been pretty solid, guards are bad.

The idea behind this is close, but not totally. Our worst starter on the OL early in the year was our LG Zach Piller, but he's been replaced with the younger and much better Jacob Bell who has been very good this year. Our other OG Benji Olson has been decent this year after being horrible last year. I think more than anything, we just need a young G/C to either replace Olson or to learn behind Mawae for a year or two as his successor.

not a bad pick there, but I think we would take landry and move Allen to CB.

I would love to land long but with him being gone so early Woodley is the next best pick.
