who is your least favorite player from your own team and why. you can have any reason from production, to their contract, to personality. whatever reason you dont like them.

mine is NY jets, justin mccariens

he was supposed to mature into a very good reciever and never did. we had high hopes for him and have continued to hope that the next year would be his breakout year. it has never came. and now he is worthless and cant even get traded because no one wants him.

close runner up, dwayne robertson. i actually like him. but we used a 4th overall pick for him and have an incredible amount of money dumped on him which his play does not come close to deserving.

Just like the two before me, this is easy...LaMont Thompson's garbage ass. As for the reason why, it's because he sucks. He can't tackle, he avoids contact, he takes the worst tackling angles in the league, he continually gets lost in coverage, and he has the dumbest looking hair in the NFL.

Eagles:

The deadly duo of Sean Considine and Matt McCoy. McCoy is incredibly fast for a LB but gets trucked and can't shed a block to save his life and can't tackle. Considine is admittedly playing out of position but he gets trucked pretty frequently and I just don't like him

I have a list. Victor Hobson used to be pretty high, as was Robertson, but now it is between Kimo and McCareins. Thank god Kevan Barlow left, because he used to be #1 on my list which is hard to be when the Jets have McCareins and Kimo.I hate going to games and when McCareins catches the ball, they call him "spiderman". It was a frickin easy catch, he isn't spiderman! Kimo, I think opposing teams averaged something like 6 ypc running to his side. If we had a decent RE, our D-Line may just be able to stop the run.

So in the end
1. Justin "Spiderman" McCareins
2. Kimo vonidchebetterbecut
3. Robertson (but he is going towards the good side)
4. Hobson (who will be gone after this year with David Harris coming in)

Instead of throwing out the obvious name in Fred Thomas (which just so happens to be my #1 answer, anyway), I'm going to go with Brian Young. Don't get me wrong, he's a very hard working, blue collar guy with a nonstop motor and I love having him on the team... but let's not kid ourselves, he's only a mediocre starter at best. I'd go so far as to say that a good upgrade over Young would make our defense much, much, much better.

dcarey20
05-28-2007, 08:35 PM
I will go with Dwan Edwards. If you don't know who he is, he is a defensive lineman that was drafted out of Oregon State in 2004 I believe. He was supposedly a pretty good prospect, as we used our 1st pick, which was in the top 50, on him. He has done nothing since he has come to Baltimore. He has 0 games started and rarely even gets to see the field. We moved him from defensive tackle to 3-4 defensive end and that did nothing for him. As a prospect he looked great. 6'3", 315 pounds, and from what I had read he had the frame to get bigger. Also saw that he had a great work ethic at Oregon State. Anyway, he's been a massive dissapointment and is my least favorite Raven.

Before this year I would say hands down, Donnie Edwards...but he's gone now...

I like most of the Chargers, I guess if I had to pick one I don't like, it would be Bwaoh Jue, just because I don't think he is as good a player as he should be, for some of the responsibilities he could potentiall have, if he starts at safety.

Personality wise though, I don't have a problem with any of the Chargers, and actually I like the whole roster pretty well....

Edwards hands down would have won though if he were still here....

Ferguson, I'm glad I have some packer support on this one cuz hopefully he gets cut this year.

I've always hated him because he sucks and has no potential to get any better but now he's injury prone and old too. He always seems to barely make the cut though because he seems to be better than the rest of the guys fighting for the #4 WR spot but unlike most of them he doesn't have any potential and cost us a pretty high draft pick and a decent sized contract.

It used to be KGB for me but I'm alright with him now because he is great at the minimized role he plays and the big contract we gave him was the fault of our ****** GM that got fired (Sherman).

Then of course there was Carroll who was #1 #2 and #3 up until he finally got cut.

Yeah... I feel the same. I know it's not his fault for being put in that position, but I don't care. I have come to loathe him just because he kept our real WRs off the field.

I also have a hard time liking Adam Treu, Barry Sims and Courtney Anderson. Anderson... and Randal Williams... Ugh!!! My #1 (a and b) used to be Derrick Gibson and Randy Moss but they're gone so these guys take their place. The TEs and Whitted being the main culprits.

I would agree, but I can't fault Brock for being put into a role which the coaching staff should've known he had little chance to succeed in. He doesn't have the bulk of a DT plain and simple. Which is why, since Gardner is gone, my vote has to go to Rob Morris. He's slow, can't cover, and can't hit. He has a great skillset for a spectator, but he's being paid to play LB in the NFL. Clearly he is the only Colts' 1st round bust of the Polian era.

those are some of the more recent but, it has been that way forever...for some strange reason.

As of right now... my least favorite player is... ha, i cant pick one... honestly this is the happiest I've been with the boys ever... I cant find a player that i dont like.

C'mon moth, do you like Keith Davis? He's a joke. Don't you remember him saying that with him starting we won a lot more games than with Watkins? He really thnks he's good, but he's good only on special teams, he was probably the worst starting FS last year. Now we have 5 safeties, I hope Davis will be the one to be cut in July.

If you asked me this a month or so ago I would have said Juran Bolden, now I don't really dislike anyone.

I was always rooting for Keith... yeah, i dont want him playing any safety...ever...ha. but, i loved his ST ability...can't say i dislike the guy. I honestly dont have a problem with any guy on our team... this is a surprise even to me. All the guys I disliked are gone...

This being said, I dont think he'll make the team.

Pick one of our last 2 first rounders, Ted Ginn or Jason Allen. I lean toward Allen because at least Ginn can return kicks, and there wasn't anyone I really wanted that bad (other than Quinn) that was there, I'd love to have Cromartie or Manny Lawson on the team instead of Allen.

Kevin Everett - He has not done anything since he's been here. http://www.buffalobills.com/team/player_stats.jsp?player_id=122601
Tim Anderson - Not really sure why he is playing.
Darwin Walker - He's not exactly a fan favorite right now.

Anyway, he's been a massive dissapointment and is my least favorite Raven.

i would have to agree with you on this
some others:
Clarence Moore and Keydrick Vincent

Pick someone who has played right guard or tackle on the Vikings and you have my least favorite player.

Steelers:

Not many guys to complain about, though I think...

Kendall Simmons - Not strong enough to hold up against DT's, quick but often whiffs on taking out a LB/DB.

Cedrick Wilson - He underplayed his talent, he's a quick/solid slot guy who was thrown in as a #2. He more often complained about DPI and quit on the ball. If he has a solid season I'll change my tune. He is great for the slot when he's trying, but he gave up way to easily last year. I'm still miffed about that bad call during the Oakland game. He had a 20yd Reception and it was overturned on replay, it clearly showed he caught the ball.

Travis Kirschke - He whines a lot about back problems, has 10+ years in and isn't anything special as a backup.

Yes, Morris hasn't turned out to be as good as what he was suppose to be, but don't forget that he replaced Gilbert on SLB and helped us win a Champioship.

He's acctually viewed as an overachiever now.

I'll have to go with Corey Simon right now, before he's cut. He had a pretty good 1st year with us, but it went downhill from there.

Has to be Justin Smith. Why the hell did we franchise his sorry azz. He is just an overpaid run stuffer and #4 overall pick who can't get a sack unless the coverage holds up for say 12 sec's and the QB rolls his way.

I really don't severely dislike any current Eagles players. I guess I'm still a little frustrated that Javon Kearse hasn't lived up to the huge contract the Eagles gave him in 2004...

I know Morris helped the Colts to a championship (I still don't understand how that is possible given how unbelievably bad he has played in the past), but he is still a waste of a 1st round pick and should only be used as a servicable at best backup. He was very helpful (as a stopgap) for those few games, but I highly doubt he'll be able to hold the job in camp and hopefully that will put him back in the role in which he belongs and was vastly overdrafted to play (backup/special teamer). As for Simon, what has he done to make the fanbase turn on him? He played great in a Colts uniform while healthy, then got hurt. Injuries happen, can't really blame Simon for that, and he looked to be in far better shape last year at training camp before getting hurt.

Kevin Youngblood made him look like a GENIUS. He was TERRIBLY inaccurate and that 'game winning' drive was made by Kevin Younblood's AMAZING catch. I wish he would have made the roster because he went up with no fear over the middle and with his size was able to leap above everyone around him and came down with an exceptional reception. It was a fantastic grab on a terrible throw that DJ got all the credit for.

He couldn't hit the broad side of a barn in the Senior Bowl and we passed up Colston in the 7th for SHOCKLEY...I was so pissed...I wanted either Paul Carrington (who we got as UDFA) or Marques Colston...man...if only McKay would listen to me.

Well, it used to be Willis McGahee. Now that he's gone, probably Josh Reed, because he had a major case of the dropsies a few years ago, but he has gotten a lot better. Or Darwin Walker, since he wont report, but if he isn't in Buffalo by training camp, he's Philly's problem again.

I hate Stanback. Because he's a bum and Achillies and a lot of people are making a big deal because he ran a "4.2" 40 when he hasn't even ran this year because he had ankle surgery. Hopefully he'll be gone.
