Whatever happened to this guy, I know he had some injuries but to be completely out of the league? He had great speed, great receiving out of the backfield abilities and was a quality RB. I can't believe the Packers or Titans hasn't made a play at this guy yet.

His injury is very serious. I wouldn't be surprised if he never suited up again.

Completely injury plagued. Maybe he never fully recovered from his last injury which put him out all of last season.

Really sad to see. He was talented.

I think he had a degenerative condition in his joints, specifically his knees.

He was meant to be ok, but I think something went wrong with his rehab that caused him major troubles.

i remember he either led or was very close to leading league in overall yards. shame that injuries take any players away

If I'm not mistaken, he has the same condition that ended Terrell Davis' career.

Hes a really good player but he'll probably never play again.

Dam I did not realize his injury was that serious, that sucks I really thought he had potential to dominate.

why did he change his last name...? Dom Davis sounds so much better.

He wanted a more popular last name.

He changed it because Davis was his dad's last name but he was raised by his mom so he changed it to Williams which was her name.

On a second note he was the best thing to happen to the Texans apart from getting Andre Johnson instead of Charles Rodgers until Demeco Ryans came along. Too bad he can't play again which makes passing on Reggie hurt even more. (Though I think Reggie is better used as a receiver/returner but we will see next season what he can do.)

He was one of my favorite former LSU Tigers and the only reason that I ever watched the Texans.

I pretty much blame the Texans and their piss poor O-line for Dominick's knees going bad. I'm just glad he was able to get paid before he got hurt.

Yeah, he and Toefield were really fun to watch at LSU.
