I think it depends on scheme. He could be either.

Might be determined by timed speed. 4.55 isn't great for a safety, but damn good for a LB.

      Yeah, I play WoW too.[/CENTER]

He sucks in coverage... Therefore I say LB. =D

Barrett has really disappointed me this year thus far. He has played far below expectations and is a fringe starter with the way Troy Nolan has been playing. I loved him last year, but it might be all of the lofty expectations that are making him play so poorly in coverage. He does give nice hits and has above average speed for a SS, but I can't see him being a FS in the NFL.

i think he will be a linebacker because of his size and i believe he will be a lot better player going sideline to sideline..oh and hes better then darnell bing imo

Think he will most likely be a LB. His coverage has been very sketchy this year and he hasn't been playing much because of an injured pec, but i think part of that could be because Jeremy Payton has played very well in Barret's place.

Bing was a pretty good player when healthy though.. i think in the right system where he is allowed to flow to the ball such as the eagles, colts or bucs he could do very well and mike a nice career there.

Where did you get 4.55? I've read that he's the fastest player on the entire ASU defense and has been timed in the low 4.4 range

4.55 is just fine for a 230+ lb SS.
