I was really impressed with the RBs on Mich. State against Wisc. Especially:

    Devin Thomas #5, WR, Jr

    and

    Javon Ringer #23, RB, Jr

So where do these guys project when they come out (probably next year?).

I was wondering about Ringer also. Nobody has been talking about him.

        Javon Ringer

        '08 Draft - Early 5th - UDFA

'09 Draft - Late 2nd - Early 4th (will depend on how many Juniors declare for the '08 Draft)

Right now I rank him 19th overall at RB, and 12th among Juniors. So if 6 of those Juniors declare, I'd see him as the 6th best RB in the '09 class.

I can see 2nd to 4th, but is there anyone who he plays like? I personally love what I saw, maybe a bit of LT, being able to run in between the tackles, catch the ball well, and get big gaines. He also broke *granted not plowed over* some tackles.

I like Ringer a lot. He's got some wheels on him, but is pretty small. I think he'll likely be a 3rd or 4th Round pick in the 2009 NFL Draft.

Apparently Mel Kiper's latest prospect rankings have Michigan State TE Kellen Davis as the #1 overall senior TE ahead of John Carlson, Fred Davis, Martin Rucker and Dustin Keller.

Devin Thomas has good size and is pretty fast. Interesting prospect.

Fast, small and but stocky... hmmmm who does this remind me of? (except for 'insanely talented' and 'will juke so hard your thigh crushes your nuts')

Other than Kiper I think Davis is pretty underrated. He's got good size at 6-6, showed some playmaking ability against ND, and is very athletic. He also is a situational pass rusher, and has 2 sacks this year. I don't know about him being #1, but definitely top 5.

                    That is correct comahan
