  • Jacob Tamme

Hes 6-5, 240 and fast. He should be getting mentioned more. When combine comes, his stock will shoot up.

He's decent for a TE big target good receiving skills, but as far as their wideouts go everyone knows Keenan Burton and to an extent Steve Johnson but I really like Dicky Lions as a 4th roundish type receiver in 2 years, reminds me a lot of Wes Welker.

I think he is a better receiving threat than Greg Olsen was, but he leaves a lot to be desired in the blocking department.

See more of a slot guy like a Dallas Clark or a Chris Cooley, would predict 3rd round but should carve out a nice NFL career.

I agree with that comparison. He is a former WR (I believe), and does fit that mold as a guy who line up in the slot or even outside and cause some mismatches. I really like him.

He did play WR his freshman year at UK (played TE against Tennessee).

Fred Davis also played WR in high school.

He doesnt look 6'5 (or atleast play like it), he looks more like 6'3, but he is a very fast recieving tight end, needs to build frame for run blocking and when he gets jammed by bigger LB's. Right now I think hes a 3-4th Round Pick.

He reminds me of a faster Zach Miller.

Right on the money. Tamme is not a conventional TE that lines up beside the tackle. He's more of a Dallas Clark/slot TE that can move around in the offense and cause match-up problems. He's by far the fastest TE in the draft, has great hands and a knack for finding creases in the defense. If used correctly, he will be the best TE from this class, but he probably won't be the highest drafted because of the lack of demand/blocking issues.

Fred Davis and his 4.45 40 say hi.

We'll see come draft day. I've seen Davis play and he doesn't match Tamme's explosion or acceleration.

It should be pretty even. But Tammes hands are better.

As a Titan and UK fan, I'd love to see the Titans pick him up in the 2nd or 3rd round. I think he will be a solid NFL player. Hopefully, he improves as a blocker and could be our next Frank Wycheck.
"A lot of people say this and say that about us, but thatís a good thing. We want to keep it low, and we donít want all the hype going with the Tennessee Titans. We want to just keep it low. Yíall just keep talking about us, talking bad about us, so we can just continue to go out there each week and show the whole world what type of football team we are." -- Vince Young

T-minus 1 year until the beginning of the Titans Dynasty!
