  • How come Scott doesn't rank return men?

How come Scott doesn't have rankings for return specialists? He has rankings for long snappers and they are almost never drafted. i just was wondering because there are plenty of players that would be ranked low on positional rankings but could be highly ranked as return specialists (i.e. Kevin Robinson from Utah St.)

Return specialist rankings would be cool IMO.

I was thinking of that too when I was looking for kick returners.

Well, I'm not sure that return specialist qualifies as an official positions. Ussually returner are either WRs, DBs or RBs.

when he writes the strengths, weaknesses, and Notes he usually tells you if a player can be a good kick/punt returner.

Considering that every year a bunch of guys get drafted only to be return men, I think it counts as a position.

Arizona wasn't really drafting Steve Breaston to be a receiver, were they?

Wait, you're seriously telling me that Devin Hester wasn't drafted in the second round to be a cornerback? This sure is news to me.

I think it would be nice. Especially since KR/PR has seemingly become more important in the past few years.

                  Those are the reasons!

With the way returners are being more highly valued it would be a cool thing. Guys like Figurs from Kansas St last year might have been listed as a WR but everyone knows he was drafted clearly as a return man.
