He'll be the first FB off the board and he may have been used better than he was at WVU but the position just doesnt get the attention it once did. Not to say someone wont get a real good football player because they will.

Peyton Hillis will be the first FB off the board. Schmitt will be the second.

somewhere early 2nd day id say. he seems like one of those players that does what they do well, but probably not much else.

id welcome him onto the bears personally. if our oline isnt going to open rushing holes, maybe he can

I like Hillis and you may be right but i dont think he's a true fb, i dont think he's your traditional blocker. Hillis seems more of a big tailback type, sort of a poormans Brian Leonard. I do think Hillis is going to have a good career somewhere that's for sure.

Schmitt played a little TE, this might help his draft stock some. Whatever team gets schmitt will get a special teams demon, imagine this guy as your wedge buster

I would love him as a Brown because he would save roster spots. 3rd TE, back up FB, and special teams ace all in one. Plus he is a badass, and the type of personality you want on your team.

I'm actually more of a fan of Jacob Hester than anyone else. He has pretty good hands, can run the ball effectively, and I do believe he'd make a decent blocker. I could see him becoming an H-Back style of player.

Plus I think you get a bargain as he can play special teams, play fullback for most teams, and can also be a goal line and short yardage specialist. Maybe even play a little tight end.

He's no Brian Leonard in terms of being a running back but I think he could play well for just about any team.

Schmitt will also be a beast because of his versatility. The pooch punt master!
