  • geno hayes?

can someone give me some info on him? productive, but only 6'2 220lbs...how will he hold up in the nfl?

I think he'll hold up fine. He's somewhat limited to weakside backer (unless someone tries him out for SS, which I doubt). He has the athleticism to be a good weakside backer. Had a strong season for them this year. Problem is, LB's fall sometimes, and this draft has a lot of LB's that project as weakside guys. I'm trying to think of a comp ... maybe Ian Gold?

The Texans need another OLB . Isn't Hayes going to need to bulk up considerably to play OLB in the NFL.

Geno will definitely be able to withstand the rigors of the NFL, the only way to restrain the man is via tazer. If hes there in the 2nd for the Giants, I think they would have a hard time passing him up.

Im kind of mad hes leaving and think he could benefit alot from staying another year and putting on a little more weight. While he's light, hes definetly a LB as he's a great tackler and doesnt miss many. He has great football awarness too and diagnoses plays well. Really outside of the weight he's very well rounded and avoids blockers pretty well for a smaller guy. I think he'll be a 2-4th round guy but end up being a good pro player.
