  • Houston FS/SS Rocky Schwartz

Never heard of this guy until today but his statistics are great and his measurables are off the charts.
He's 5'10", 204 lbs. At Houston's pro-day he put up 25 reps on the bench, ran a 4.42 40, 4.09 SS, 6.52 3-cone, 41 1/2" vert, and a 10'02" broad jump. In terms of all-around pro day performances, this is easily among the top 5 in the country.

He also had a very good year statistically for the Cougs, leading the team with 103 tackles, and adding 4 tackles for loss, 2 INT's, 8 pass break-ups, 3 forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets drafted, this year's version of Brannon Condren.

Nobody cares/has ever watched a Houston game huh? Hm, I guess I thought it was noteworthy that he's had easily the best all-around workout of any safety in the country. It's not like he didn't have production as well.

                Wendling: 6'1 222 pounds

                Schwartz: 5'10 204

                Not a good comparison.

not those measureables specifically, the kindof stuff they do at the combine.
