  • Worrell Williams or Jasper Brinkley?

The Packers need some depth around that linebacker core and two guys I am interested in are Worell Williams and Jasper Brinkley. They both are great at getting off blockers and stopping the run but which is the better option? Jasper was a first round penciled in locked a year ago, what has happened to him?

I know Brinkley was seriously injured, but I don't know remember what specifically what happened to him, I imagine a knee problem...

I am a big fan of both Williams and Brinkley as 3-4 ILBs especially Brinkley with his huge size. If he's drafted by a team that uses a 3-4, he could be really special.

I really like both of them but I like Brinkley a little bit more. I think both would contribute in the 3-4

I prefer Williams but I want the Niners to get one of these guys on day-2 for depth behind Takeo Spikes.

I like Worrell, I personally think he's better than Follet. if both were picked, it'd be a cal dream come true.

Listed as 6'2" 275 but we'll get some official results for him tomorrow.

What ever happened to Desmond Bishop? He was a big thumper out of Cal who could now play ILB in your 3-4. Has he been a disapointment or do you think he steps it up this year?

Bishop was never really good at cal. He was good enough to be considered one of the best, but that team wasnt really special besides Aaron.

I'd have to go with Brinkley, to me he's better at getting off blocks and is a real good athlete considering the position he plays and how big he is.

Can Brinkley play MLB in a 4-3? or is he strictly a 3-4 ILB?

275 or whatever weight he is at, is he too big to play MLB ina 4-3?

I know he is a BEAST. I caught a few of his games on TV at South Carolina.

I think Brinkley compares to Levon Kirkland as a bigger "athletic" style ILB in a 3-4.

I think Worrell williams is a 3-down backer.

                          Yeah, I play WoW too.[/CENTER]
