  • Tout a guy from your favorite college thread

I get a bad rap on here for my username. I DO TRY however to be as unbiased as possible.

    Not in this thread though.

Tout/Pimp a player from your favorite college that is going in the draft this year.He doesn't have to be a big name. Maybe a player thats flying under the radar a little bit.

I'm gonna go with my guy CB Ryan Palmer from Texas.

He may be a little undersized at 5-10 186, but he is not afraid to hit.Palmer started 2 years at CB at Texas posting 136 tackles, three sacks, nine TFL, four INT, including one returned for a TD, 24 PBU, three forced fumbles and a fumble recovery during his career.

I'm not great at comparisons but, I think CB Jacque Reeves is a fair comparison. Palmer is FAST, can tackle and is technically sound in my opinion.

I also think Palmer is going to have a great combine.

I think he gets drafted in the 5-7 rounds and makes the team and has a solid career.

    Who's next??

Neefy Moffett is someone who interest me a lot in a switch to the 3-4.

Two guys are Tyrell Sutton and Rasheed Ward, I love them both.

Sutton will be an excellent running back, the only thing against him is size. He's pretty fast, excellent hips, great vision, and incredibly elusive. Not only that, he can actually break tackles!

Rasheed Ward is a speedy receiver who could develop into a slot receiver. Even if that doesn't work out, he could be an excellent return man in the NFL.

      Watch out for both!
      Just play me, baby

Moffett looks like a good call. I watched a little FSU football last year, but not too much. He sounds like the type of player thsat could do well in a 3-4. I don't know too much about him though.

I love Alex Mack, he is the best run blocker in the NCAA last year!

Donald Washington. Never got the pub he deserved because he was overshadowed by Malcolm Jenkins, wasn't a ballhawk, and was in and out of the doghouse. He is a shutdown corner though and a very good athlete. I can see him pushing into the 4th round and potentially starting one day.

Macho Harris, the scouts are doubting him, but I could see him having a solid career.

I agree. I can see him being a solid special teams contributor early in his career too.

Whew, Michigan State is gonna be a tough one lol.

I'll go with Javon Ringer. The dudes a physical beast, even though he's only around 5'9 200. State did not use him right at all this year, basically running dives on every run play. Most of his big runs came when he cut back outside. He does have pretty good speed, although not elite. His hands are also a positive for him. The main concern I have with him is durability. I think he'll be solid in a 2-back system, or as a great backup that could handle 3rd down duties as well.

Anthony Heygood, OLB Purdue - I'm actually shocked that he didn't get a combine invite. At the very least he'd be an outstanding special teamer, but I can see him turning into a good WILL.
