I think Jason Smith, OT, Baylor really helped his already good stock. He looked really impressive.

i dont get that you put barden with helped and bruton at second day winners but i pretty much agree with your list
edit: add derrick williams to your losers the guy ran like a old age pensioner

      Saints 2014 draft wish list:
      - No pass rusher till the fourth round (or preferably at all)
      - Corner or Wideout in the first
      - No reaching
      - No Kelvin Benjamin

i wouldn't include maclin. he didn't help or hurt. 4.4 is a good time if a guy looks like a speed guy on the field.. hester ran that.

I think Ian Johnson really helped his stock with some really solid numbers. Add that to fact that the kid is a consummate teammate and a quality special teamer means some team is going to take a flyer on him and get a damn fine player, assuming he can stay healthy.

I don't think Wells really hurt his stock, he ran about as fast as you would have thought he was going to run. He's a 235 RB, he doesn't set world land speed records.

Also, with no other glaring weaknesses, I think Everette Brown's comparatively pitiful 31.5" vert makes you worry a lot about drafting the guy high. He can correct this at his pro day, but 31.5" is far from the level of explosiveness you want from an NFL pass rusher, especially one who's already somewhat undersized. Guys who just look at 40 times will conclude he's fine, but the best measurement of explosiveness for a pass rusher at the combine has always been the vert.

            Ogletree & Peerman helped themselves.

<+BOE> Scott, with Burfict's character concerns (whether legit or not) you think Pioli would draft him. :D
<+ScottWright> Why not. Baldwin does need a sparring partner...

I think Morgan Trent did well enough to trick a team into drafting him.

                        Connor Barwin
                        Brian Robiskie
                        Marcus Freeman
                        Kenny Britt
                        DHB
                        Patrick Chung
                        Eric Wood

Some of the guys i thought helped themselves in terms of real movement on draft day.

Connor Barwin was a beast. His numbers in all categories were not only at the top of the DE group but they would have been near the top of the LB group. I think he needs to put on about 10lbs of upper body bulk but i think he could play both DE and OLB. To use an old phrase, imagine if he had played at ........

Rey Rey is the biggest name to really kill his stock.

I think when you're in the top 15 or so in peoples minds it is near impossible to drop too far. I'd also include guys like Everette Brown and Aaron Maybin who are sort of bullet proof. Dont expect them to drop too far.
