I think Devin Moore needs to be on the list. I am a big fan of Moore and think that his ability as a 3rd down back and return specialist is excellent. I like him as one of the top 5 return men.

I wonder if a team would actually throw Harvin out there, given his injury-riddled past. He could definitely get you some extra yards as a returner, but I probably wouldn't risk it.

I'd let him do the punt returns....and play a lil r.b....and be a very good #2 or slot w.r....and run the wildact.....

And then you'd watch his name be put on I.R. every year lol.

If Maclin or Harvin were starting full time at me at WR, or Moore at CB, I'd really struggle to keep them at return man. Thats asking a key player on one of the sides of the ball to take a serious injury risk back there....idk.

As rookies, maybe they would just be slot/nickel guys and not full time players, then I'd utilize their return abilities more, but once they became a starter, I'd think long and hard about keeping them back there as returners.

With that said...For more "pure" return guys...

Marcus Thigpen, Derrick Williams, Brandon Tate, Mike Thomas, Sammy Stroughter come to mind for me.

So of them have a shot at becoming starting caliber receivers down the road but all will be middle rounders at the earliest and their top initial impact will be on special teams.

Michael Ray Garvin should get a mention and is maybe worth a late round flyer. He had the 2nd best return average in the nation last year with 30.1 yards per return.

Captain Munnerlyn will be drafted almost solely for his ability to return kicks and punts...

Yes, he holds pretty much every Ole Miss kick return record. He didn't do much work on punts though, that was Marshay Green's job. I think he could be a hell of a kick returner for someone though.

Isn't Mike Wallace like Mr. anti-clutch and fumbles pretty often?

give me Harvin over all those guys. I love his big play ability he brings.

Harvin has never returned a kick or punt at the collegiate level, there's no way he's in the top five return guys. Sure, he looks good running with the ball, but talk about zero production!
