  • Dream Draft

Last year Scott Wright did a dream draft in August:

    http://www.draftcountdown.com/featur...ream-Draft.php

In hindsight he did a really great job.

What is everybody's dream draft for this year?

    The rules according to Scott:
I will get one selection in the middle of every round of the draft.
In each round I can only select a prospect who actually went in that frame.
I can't take anyone who was selected before my mid-round slot.
I can't choose more than one prospect at each position.
I will also be allowed to sign one undrafted free agent.
I will not be selecting for any particular offensive or defensive scheme.

Round 1 - Jeremy Maclin WR Missouri
Round 2 - William Beatty OT Connecticut
Round 3 - Jared Cook TE South Carolina
Round 4 - Lawrence Sidbury DE Richmond
Round 5 - Victor Harris CB Virginia Tech
Round 6 - James Davis RB Clemson
    Round 7 - Courtney Greene S Rutgers
UDFA - Chris Baker DT Hampton
10 Favourite prospects for 2010: Colt McCoy, Dez Bryant, Golden Tate, Noel Devine, Ndamukong Suh, Greg Hardy, Eric Norwood, Travis Lewis, Eric Berry, Trevard Lindley

I already did one but I have a question. Does the player have to be taken anywhere after the 15th pick of the round or can the player be from around the middle?

Oh I didn't notice the one position rule. LG and RG and LE and RE are different positions. =]

Funny you should say that considering he got picked by the evil genius that is Bill Belicheck. :p

I went with a long snapper because, well, how many people selected in the second half of the sixth round really look like starting material at positions I hadn't already picked in other rounds?
