No BJ Raji or Matt Ryan this year, but still some potenially draftable prospects participated.

Of the BC players who did participate in all of the drills the results points to Marcellus Bowman (6'2", 223 pounds) being the big winner out of all of the Eagles that were on hand. BC's former starting safety ran the fastest 40 time at 4.52 and 4.58, which wasn't the only thing that he excelled in. Bowman had the highest vertical jump of any BC player at 37 1/2', and at 10.1 had the 2nd highest broad jump. In addition, Bowman had the fastest 3-cone time at 6.59 seconds. The most impressive performance from Bowman might have been his 21 reps on the bench press, which puts him on par with top prospects like Earl Thomas(21), and Myron Rolle(21), and ahead of top safety prospect Eric Berry(19).
Bowman was a pretty good safety for BC; he has size, decent athleticism, intelligence, and strength. Could be a nice depth guy/special teamer.

    Brian Toal sighting!

The most impressive of the former BC players was Brian Toal who looked like he added some bulk to tryout as a fullback. Toal checked in at 256 pounds which accounted for his 40 time of 4.78. On the bright side, Toal showed exceptional receiving ability while going out for passes and also managed to put up 23 reps on the bench press.
Wide receivers Rich Gunnel (4.63) and Justin Jarvis (4.68) ran disappointing 40s, though I could definitely see Gunnel making a roster. He is a playmaker with some nice quickness.
