  • DE/OLB Prospects?

Who are some of the most talented and versatile prospects on the DL the last couple drafts?

I was thinking before back to 2008 and all the attention Chris Long got, with opinions varying from 3-4 OLB, 3-4 DE, 4-3 DE, or even 4-3 UT.

Everson Griffen out of USC this year played both DE and some standup rush backer while in college, shows some serious potential anyway with his triangle numbers.

Tyson Jackson is a good one.

I listed as versatile off the top of my head but as far as the most talented, a couple on my list don't belong.

I like Suh but I saw him as a 4-3 UT all along.

Gerald McCoy played every DL position in college and was seen dropping into shallow coverage at times. In the 3-4 he played both NT and DE, and in the 4-3 he lined up at NT, UT, and both DE spots. I won't say that he wouldn't have had to make adjustments/improvements, but he could probably have projected to 5-Tech just fine.

Koa Misi played nearly every position on the front-7

                Kentwan Balmer.

3-4 DE, 4-3 UT, 4-3 NT, even 3-4 NT some times.
