  • Patrick Peterson Measurables?

How big is Patrick Peterson really? Scott Wright has him slated @ 6'1'' 222 in his mock & that seems unheard of for a CB.

Come on, man. Do some research.

LSU Sports has him listed at 6'1 222 lbs.
Scout.com has him listed at 6'1 197 lbs. coming out of high school.
ESPN.com has him listed at 6'1 222 lbs.

I would pull more links but they're from other draft sites. 6'1 222lbs. is about where he is. He may come in a little lighter, a little heavier at the combine but not by 3 pounds either way if I had to guess. His height is legit.

You don't have to rip my head off man. I asked because, on this other site I go to for fairly accurate measurebles, the have him at 6'1'' 211. I would love for him to keep that 222lb frame & translate it over to the NFL. The only thing is coaches have a knack for converting larger CB's over to FS/SS & I would hate to see that happen, because he's a true shutdown CB.

Well, most of the time that conversion happens because bigger college corners tend to also be slow.....obviously not the case for PP.

What do you get out of that research but more confusion i would say. I think his measurables are off the chart, probably is going to be in the 6-0 210 range with 4.4 speed. Can he cover with the best of them would be my question, measurables are all world.

If you watched him play you know he could, and I think 6'1 220 is legit

Agreed. He looks like a strong safety and runs like a corner. I'd be shocked if he wasn't closer to 220 than 210.

Damn, I thought he was 210. A 220 pound CB who can run a 4.3 and is still super fluid? Jeez. I maintain the thought that Peterson could play any secondary spot at an all-pro level, this guy is going to be this generations Deion Sanders or Dick "Night Train" Lane. Peterson out of this world good.

I thought the same thing even though he looks real diesel.

Because covering college players and covering pros isnt the same thing, good to know there arent any unnecessary questions asked on this site.

Love him as a prospect, just want to see if he's a true cover guy or more of a physical freak,or both. Can we not question top players in here without getting jumped on?

You're alright with me, but you tried to rip my head off for starting this thread.
