How do you guys see this kid? Is he a ballhawk? At 6'5 that seems a little tall for the safety position. How do you see him in the pros? I think he compares favorably to Kenny Tate, but Tate puts up monster stats.

Now I will say I have not seen this kid play. Just highlight tapes. But what is all the hype about? He had 1 pick 0 PD and like 55 tackles all year. Can someone explain this?
Hardly seems like an impactful safety, but there are still talks of him being arguably the best Safety in the draft and a good centerfielder.

    Thanks.

I'd like to see everyone's opinions on Mr. Sands.

Sands is a tall saftey that really isn't physical. And has good ball skills. Limited upside.4-5 round grade from me.

id probably give him more of a late 3rd early 4th grade but i agree with you that he isnt nearly as physical as you would expect from a player of his size. he does have very good ball skills and a good bit of range but hes gotta work on his angles a lot in run support and in coverage and learn to get lower.
