  • Project WR's?

Who are some later round guys who have good physical tools who could be coached up to be a good wideout?

Guys I can think of off the top of my head...

DeAndre Brown (If the coaching staff can get him to work hard, but a big gamble)
    Kris Adams
    Courtney Smith

Can anyone add any more. It just seems that these are the kinds of guys that the Chargers like to go after with Charlie Joiner coaching them up, it seems like he gets a LOT out of those kinds of guys (Jackson, Floyd, Seyi, and even Naanee)

Arm Binns-Cincinnati. I'm sorry that none of these guys play QB so you didn't get a response.

        TROY has a few guys.
        1) Jason Bruce...smaller than Jernigan, but is productive...sub 4.4 guy
        2) TeBiarus Gill...6'1" 215-220...4.5-4.6 40 range...good possession guy...redzone target
        3) Austin Silvoy...6'2" around 210...4.5 40 range...played with Tebow in HS...has had some injury issues, but is a good receiver. When playing, I haven't seen him miss many passes...usually catches anything near him...

"I like it when people underestimate us," Addison said. "I feel real confident in the guys we have back there. The guys we lost are no better than the guys we have now. The guys we have now are more sound. We're a faster defense, we just have to get a little more physical. I know we'll get the job done and we're going to prove we can get the job done."

He's interesting, i know absolutly nothing about the guy, but he seems to have really solid mesurables. It depends on how fast he is though. Do u know if he has good/solid speed, or is he just a big slow WR?

Seems to be fairly athletic for his size. Seems pretty quick. Maybe a 4.55.

What round do you think he'll go in?

I'm a big Armon Binns fan. More of a sleeper than a project. Should go in the 3rd or 4th round and could develope into a Plaxico Burress type receiver minus the gun shot wound.

4-6. He has potential but his inexperience and this WR class will push him down.

I don't know if he qualifies as a project, but Cecil Shorts has a very good skillset to work with. Decent size, great hands, good route runner and has good quickness after the catch.
