I think he has skinny legs and most of his production in that video (which is all I've seen from him) comes as a direct results of his opponents being horrible at tackling. That doesn't really warrant a selection that early, does it?

His body looks like a WR to me. I don't see any bulk on him at all. He even kind of runs like a WR runs.

Still though, he could be intriguing. I'd like to see him at the combine if he gets an invite.

Yeah I agree. That was one of the first things I noticed in that video. If he shows he can run routes well he would be more interesting imo.

He's got nothing but speed. He's tall and skinny, runs high (like... a sprinter) and didn't play against guys who were near his ability level. In his videos, he just runs around like a kid on a playground playing tag; the other guys just have a hard time getting a hold on him. But that won't be the case in the NFL, and I really don't see anything in his game that makes me think he'll be a good running back other than his timed speed. He does the stop-and-start thing a lot, and that bugs the hell outta me when I'm scouting running backs.

            No.

Danny Woodhead is much stockier. Jones looks like he'd snap right in half if Troy Polamalu hit him right. He's super skinny. And he doesn't run with any power; Danny Woodhead was always known as a workout guy. I guess I don't know that Jones isn't in the weight room a lot, but... he looks twiggy. And all his long runs are these long, looping things where he hits an enormous hole and sprints to the endzone, or puts a move on a guy and then runs around him to the outside. Not a fan of Jones. I can see him as a gadget-type guy with his speed an receiving ability, but he's not an NFL running back. He's kind of like a less-talented Reggie bush in the way he runs, and Reggie Bush sucks.

I just love EWU's red turf.

Liked what I saw from Taiwan so far, could be a solid situational back in the pros. 5th-6th rounder right now.

He's Jerious Norwood 2.0... I just hope he Taiwan can stay healthy in the NFL, unlike Norwood. Jerious has been a good back when he's been healthy.

He wasn't on the official underclassmen list released today, anyone know if he never hired an agent and is going back or if it was just an oversight?

He is declaring, he was an accidental omission.

He actually looks a lot like Peterson when he runs, minus the violent finishing which probably has a lot to do with the 25 pound difference.

Love his change of direction abilities, is very good at shifting his body weight and maintaining speed.

I think he could be a good complement to a bigger back but I do agree that the way he runs actually feels like a WR which is a position he would have great size at and possibly good speed as well. Combine will be huge for him assuming he is invited of course. He actually could have a future as a slot back because he does look deadly in space.

Also... coolest name in the draft or what?

Props to BK on the sig!

Wow, that acceleration is special. I don't care what competition he was playing against.

                          Danny Woodhead type PICK
As in a small school guy who can enjoy success in the NFL, and be a steal when looking back.

This guy is not going to be a #1 back on the next level but in tandem with another powerish back he can achieve quite some success. I'm actually going to say 5-7 range instead of 3-5, I just think he is a bit too...raw to go that high when guys that played against better competition and are more ready are there.

Too bad the bench press and squat rack weren't his friends in college.

With 15 - 20 more pounds, Taiwan looks like a serious contributor in the pros.

Special teamer/3rd down back until he gains weight.

Mayock said if he has a real good pro day, he could go as high as round 2 but is no worse than a 4th rounder right now.
                                And proud of it!!!
